Great video as always! You possess impressive comedic skills that we have not seen before! My wife doesn’t care for watches, watch videos, or watch people. She just doesn’t get it. But you cracked her up, when I played her a few snippets. I’ll check out that Bell & Ross next time I’m in one of my watch shops. You are right; a watch shouldn’t get you killed. Before COVID I had already started leaving Rolex’s at home when traveling in Europe. I have also traveled to some really scary places, where I wouldn’t even take a Bell & Ross. I know it’s blasphemy to watch people; but in these countries I take a Timex Indiglo.

Thank you for the compliment, Frank. I tried to make the video more entertaining, so I'm glad to hear that it worked. Which part of Europe do you travel to that isn't safe for Rolex? I for sure leave mine at home when i visit London. By the way Timex has a great reputation I think. Might not be a luxury item but it's well respected, comparable to Casio in that regard.

@@watchcraft London most definitely. But, Paris and Rome are also on my no Rolex list. I feel more comfortable in countries like Germany, Iceland, Ireland and Poland; but I figure why bother? Most areas of the U S are still okay, but that is changing fast. The nice part is that many of my Rolexs don’t look like Rolexs. Explorer I, II and Submariners fly under the radar. I still wear a Rolex in Las Vegas, and since reopening have found found the ADs there willing to sell me what I want. There are three Rolex ADs within walking distance on the strip plus every other brand you can think of. I walked into the boutique at the Wynn hotel and asked to buy Explorer II with the white dial. I was complemented on my choice but was told it was not available and that perhaps there was something else in the case that would interest me. I looked, but there were hardly any watches on display. I left my cell number and asked her to keep me in mind, although I have no purchase history. The next morning she called and told to come in a pick up my watch. I said wow did it just come it? She said no, it was here; but it’s been made available. Over the next few trips, at another boutique, I purchased an Explorer I, Batgirl, and the new 41mm Submariner. No discount on Rolex of course, but Omega and Grand Seiko; I got 20%off. I don’t think I’ll have similar success in the near future, because Vegas is almost back to normal. Hey, what is wrong with the Montblanc Geosphere? I wear it often. When I bought it, the Omega Aqua Terra World Timer was my runner up. Regarding safety, I will visit the Dominican Republic next month on business, and when we land, whatever I am wearing gets replaced with my Seiko beater.
