Sorry to hear about your Beloved pooch passing... I lost my Girl some 11 years ago now and still miss her every day. They are Family pure and simple.. And like you I've shed many tears for her... Hope your mother is doing well.. Well done Andy keep up all of your good work and positive mindset. 🏃👍

Thanks Mark. It's been just over a month now and I still have the odd wobble. My other dog is so funny that she's been an absolute godsend during this difficult period. I'm sorry to hear about your loss, even though it was some time ago - although time is a great healer, it doesn't make it any less sad that they're not here any more. Hey it is Chinese new year, you are right up to date on their Lunisolar calendar 😉. Sorry to hear Christmas was so challenging, I always shed a year when we lose our pets, the more you bond with them and enjoy them the harder it is. Glad your mum is getting good care.

Thanks Derek. It's been a challenging end to the old year and start to the new year for sure. However, we all have periods of time like this, and it's important to stay positive and look at all the good things - they are out there! I'm still smiling, and running definitely helps lift the spirits!

You're so right. Running is a tonic. I'm not getting out quite as much as I'd like with all that's going on at the moment but I want to find a new routine where running can fit in as it's so important.

All the feels to you - we had fam illness in several households that blew a hole in best laid plans + an expected, long time coming. bereavement. But better now. Can’t remember if I’ve commented since but following the silver linings spirit, I did manage the HM I’d been training for. You were a big inspiration for me giving it a go - so thanks!

Thanks Paul. She's back home. Needs a lot of care so I'm round there quite a bit, but she's my mum so that's absolutely fine of course! 😊
