I always loved the mid-winter thaw in Michigan! Since I wasn't a water hunter, a long winter with no detecting wasn't much fun. Usually a nice week long thaw would at least give me a brief chance to 'scratch' the hunting itch. You did quite nicely on this hunt! ❤🇺🇸🇨🇦

Love checking snow piles here in Michigan. We had a thaw one year and the was a $5 bill and a $1 dollar bill! Great finds. Will try to go out today once temp goes up above freezing.

I am always so envious of my northern neighbors with your toonies and loonies. Here in the US we primarily use paper bills for $1.00USD or greater. In four years of metal detecting I have only found four USD$1.00 coins, all from our Presidential series. I have also found only one half dollar coin. Always fun to see you score serious coinage!

I just started the 50 pulltap challenge, honestly found some great finds! 10k gold ring! also returned a pendant to a lady family heirloom, so happy to see their faces when they get there precious metals returned. It gives me fuel to keep going!! Great finds by the way Rdogg!!
