We captured a mountain lion in the Redwoods last year on our dash cam. We stopped at the visitor center to report the sighting and the rangers were super excited because there hadn't been a sighting in the park in 3 years. We were able to provide them a copy of the video to send to their biologists.

My dad use to make the donuts in Rockland, Maine at Dunkin Donuts. When I was little, I would walk down with my grandfather. Dad would let me go on into the kitchen and make my own creation. Back then Dunkin Donuts was more like an old school breakfast joint with bar stool type seating around the never ending counter with real coffee mugs. I don't remember a drive thru. I really don't think there was a drive thru. Save Travels. Nice work for all the kiddos!!

Hi, I installed the Garmin Dash Cam Mini 2 with the Garmin constant power cable which plugs into the OBD port on my GMC Sierra. The camera mounts in front of the rear view mirror so the driver can't see it. With the constant power cable the camera records while the truck is parked. The videos are very clear, I'm sure you'll like the camera.

We recently bought a dash cam for our Class A for protection. You guys are still following our route but a few months behind us. Umm the donuts. Passed just about an hour south of us in northern Illinois. Corey your nuts washing the truck in a lightning storm.

We love our RVCAM 795 by Garmin. It doubles as a RV GPS and a dash-cam. So it’s only one space on the windshield, but it also covers you in those instances!

I'm surprised you didn't have a dashcam already. I've been using a Garmin Dashcam 46 for several years now. It's small and includes time and gps location imprinted on the video. I use 720p to keep the file sizes down but it can record 1080p. Happy Trails kids!

I agree, I put a dash cam in just over a year ago. I have the " is that me paranoia" too. is that oil burning smell me? is that noise me? lol... I had a trailer tire blow. tpms didn't alarm till the spare with lower pressure was on 5 minutes after I was back on the road. They must only signal at an interval, but it claims it has a rapid pressure drop alarm... who knows safe travels Dave

I have a truck camper and have a rear view mirror camera that also connects wireless to a camera on the back of my camper. Don't just have a front one. Things happen in the back also. Mine is a Haloview M10

AH a dashcam. I got the Vantrue N2 Pro with the GPS. have had it for 3 years. I have mine mounted just behind my rearview mirror with a half clamp. (well, I kinda bent the clamp to fit around the suction cup) I screwed it into the square housing that is around the rearview mirror.

Dash Cam is a must, I’ve had one even before I ever purchased a TT . He said she said, but the camera never lies. As you mentioned to many crazies out there . On the 4th of July someone rear ended us , and ran , yes I had one in the rear window , police viewed and captured him . As always great job guys.

That donut commercial was a long time ago in KY. It has been a minute since I have seen it. I remember it well. I used to go and get a booth at the Expo center during the flea markets they held. I have a mini-donut machine that would crank out 200 donuts an hour. I would make the different icings and fillings the night before. I made a profit, but it wasn’t enough to live off of. I might do it again when I retire in about 6 years for extra money.

Great episode. It truly does pay off to trust your instincts. Even when you're buying new, manufacture defects happen. (Tires in this case). Walk arounds are great ways to find things before you have a critical moment. Treat them like Recons, each one is a new recons and you need to actually be looking for abnormal situations. I have a dually and saw a dark line on the inside of my outer rear wheel. Yep, my tire had split all around the inside seem. Made me a believer in just being observant and get to know you "stuff". Love seeing all you do and the travel info is great too. Thank you for bringing us along.

How were the mosquitos at the Mississippi river ? Last time I stopped near the river the mosquitos were little black clouds around my ankles following me around, one of the few times I wish I had a can of "yard guard" on me LOL. I think you sold me on that dash cam though, that could be useful for lots of reasons.

LOL, weird smells. We both started laughing. A couple years ago we went to Watkins Glen NY for our yearly vacation. We live in NW Indiana. The entire time, I had a gut feeling that we may have some sort of problem with the truck (no reason to think this). We got all the way back to Mishawaka, IN and we pulled off the highway to stop at Meijer for milk and a couple other things. Husband stayed in truck with the dogs. When I came out I told him I smelled something hot. He poo pood me and said it was something in the air. We started to leave the parking lot and I got angry and said "It's not something in the air, there are no factories around here to produce that smell. He begrudgingly stopped, mid parking lot and I told him to pop the hood. (I think he was tired and just wanted to get that last 25 miles home) Welllll, our alternator was smoking and starting to have little flames!!! Out came the fire extinguisher and fire averted. Took another 6 or 7 hours to get towed home but, at least the truck and trailer didn't go up in flames and it was an easy fix for him. So YES, pay attention to weird smells!

Did you get a dash cam with GPS? They can track your speed along with the video footage. I've seen a lot of people get out of tickets when they told the officer, "Yes, I was going XX MPH and it's recorded on my dash cam here." If you get one that has the cabin camera also, it can save you from seatbelt tickets.

We ran into Corey and Jess in our campground today! They are super nice people! Jess in even prettier in person :) Now, knowing Corey is an introvert I could have just calmly said, Hey we enjoy your content, thank you for sharing it with us but NOOOO! I had to practically scream HEY IT”S FINDING YOUR SOMEDAY like a crazy person! 😜 They have inspired us to travel more and worry less, paint the inside of our RV to what we like and I am having a dash cam delivered to this campground as we speak. Anyway was so nice to meet them. AND if you ever wondered just how clean the RV is…. IT IS! It literally shines 😎 P.S. Won’t tell you where they are so don’t ask. One crazy fan is enough. Never go back to that tire store again, or any shop like that. A bulge in a tire is NEVER normal or okay. A bulge means a weakness or other defect in the tire. A blowout could be life ending. Glad you took care of it.

Yes! A bulge is a sign of a tread separation and that the tire needs replacing immediately. It has happened to us more times than I care to recall! 😔

I have one in my motorhome and it has a G sensor in it that will automatically save the previous 30 seconds up until I think about five minutes if it thinks you’ve been in an accident. Our roads are so nasty that every once in a while that G sensor goes off and beeps and says it saves the fire. Especially in my home state of Arizona on I 40. Thanks for the video.

Tires have been our big issue. Without the RV community, we wouldn't have been prepared. You can never say too much about tire safety. Let us know if you find a good, reliable brand. Loved the stuff the MO! We thought we were the only ones to say, "Time to make the donuts!", when we rise early in the a.m. Interested also in the upgraded dash cam you get. Let us know.❤

Dash cams are helpful. We were rear ended and we thought it was a simple mistake because we were all stopped. The girl who rear ended us, tried to reverse and rammed into us harder, had leaned over out of her seat to make out with her boyfriend. We were in a Tesla and got super clear footage of the whole thing. Their insurance was fighting us on covering 2 car seats and dragging their feet on covering the damage to the car until we sent the footage and told them to tell their clients we’d see them in small claims court and the insurance paid up immediately.
