@jadenquest95442 жыл бұрын
I would not accept it. Not in my house
@stevai67322 жыл бұрын
No. Porn is a joke and a demonic plight on the soul of man and woman regardless of your race, religion or background. If you don't see that, you're damaged. Watching people screw is an unnatural abomination of behavior and never a thing before the modern realm of technology outside of groupplay or watching your husband or wife/girlfriend/etc hop on someone else. The damage is spiritual and scientifically documented if you aren't knee-deep in coomer brains. If my daughter went down this path, she could speak to me after repenting and giving the profession up for good, otherwise, she is no long a daughter of mine. The body is a temple, not a swamp of prostitution and anti-reproductive pleasure farming. This world is cursed and porn is an aspect of the spiritual downfall of many peoples.
@petsandthingsilike2 жыл бұрын
No, I couldn't accept it because sex work is so exploitive on both sides. Such a scary environment. I would try my best to advocate to get out of that. I went no-porn(and I used to to never be able to imagine a porn-free life) after I found out how awful it is.. I can't support it. The only people who benefit are the ones off of the exploitation of others. Even if one pornstar is making billions and says its lovely, there will always be a younger and more naive person being taken advantage of. A lot of assualt is recorded and is now legal because its 'porn' (filmed in front of a camera). Theres also many illegal porn that's posted on legal websites because anyone can post and it's not regulated. Same with revenge porn. No one wins, really.. (also a good way to educate yourself is on how drugs and sex trafficking is used to control sex workers and addicts, a lot of 'porn' is also advertising for those been trafficked or kidnapped). There are so many good ways to make money nowadays, even if you like sex, there are much better ways (getting into a trade) that don't hurt the exploited. I also find myself a lot happier without porn and I have better relationships, sex life and friends.. I found that I was missing human connection and wanted that instant rush.. not worth it.. just always think why and how did this happen.. what happened before this.. what will happen to them after?

@@Hauke69 to make ends meet by yourself you need a strong stable job. You can't get that kind of job as a young person because employers are obsessed with exemplary CVs (especially the previous experience section). Most college students don't have that, for obvious reasons. Part-times at fast food might not be attractive as experience, even though that's the only option for highschoolers, but you can't even count it as an option for college students because of how low the pay is; and a part-time during highschool takes a lot of time that you have reserved for academic performance (olympiads, contests, tutoring, even charities) which is something that is seeked when you apply for college. Internships generally don't happen in the first year of college, and even so internships also have low pay, that is if the employer even wants to pay the student. See, if you get an internship at a multinational, let's say, it's likely that they will not even pay you because "it's an honor to work for them" because that gives them strong material for their CV. And also, a job oftentimes means you have to sacrifice your education. This is the case in my second world country, I don't even want to think about what happens in Japan.

One of the biggest arguments I ever had in a relationship was with an ex-gf over whether it would be acceptable if our (hypothetical) daughter was a sex worker. I was on team “absolutely not” and assumed she would be too. Instead, she was on team “I’d respect her choices and I think it’s judgmental and disrespectful for you to not support her.” It was the first sign that the relationship wasn’t going to work because I felt like she was living in a naive fantasyland where, apparently, it was wrong for me to want more for my child than selling her body for men’s sexual pleasure, and where it was judgmental to accept that your mother respecting you being a sex worker doesn’t change the fact that the other 99% of people in society won’t and that that matters (a lot).

This does bring back the question of accessibility to higher education in the spotlight. Japan is still a somewhat conservative society economically speaking, and the aging population would put healthcare above education in terms of national priorities... But hearing how common it is to get into porn and/or prostitution to be able to pay for higher education reveals just how bad it got. The solution isn't to go the reactionary way and ban sex work, but create a situation where women don't feel compelled to get into it to pay for necessary expenses. That father shouldn't blame himself for this situation. In a perfect world, we would all have an equal start, but he had additional handicaps that made it impossible to provide everything for his daughter. If a single parent works hard to provide for their family and still can't make it, shouldn't the system itself be pointed as the issue, especially in a society known for how hard working and productive their workers can be, like Japan? I sincerely hope the interviewed father comes to peace with it and stop blaming himself. Thank you for this video!

well said. the problem in japan specifically is that porn/prostitution is the only way to pay for college! if their was an alternate way for them to pay for college or colleges were cheaper then she wouldnt have gotten into the industry. the lack of options to make money is what i think is causing the most problems in japan. nobita has also touched on single parents alot and clearly that single parent cant support the kid and the kid has to make money somehow. the thing that makes me mad the most is that all of this is cause because of money... not only in japan but pretty much everywhere else.
@rwatertree2 жыл бұрын
No one is compelled to prostitute herself to party for tuition. The idea that it is the only way to pay for university is obviously bombastic and false. Just by comparing the number of women in university and the number of female porn stars it's more likely that Japanese women work normal jobs to pay their tuition than work in porn or prostitution. The issue is that there are alot of hedonistic people willing to do anything to get rich quick.
@dneiliz58092 жыл бұрын
Imo, giving higher accessibility to higher education may only work out in the short term. Even today, having a degree itself doesn't necessarily guarantee you to land a job since people with a degree is more common today than the past making degree worth less. Making degree more accessible will just make more people to be "forced" to pursue further study in order to compete into the job market. I believe the problem has to do more with school main focus of pushing their students into getting into college/university without showing more alternative path such as apprenticeship/trades.

They are performing job that is no worse than one that your therapist is performing to you. If you don't watch it then at least you have moral ground to be judgemental of the activity of watching and producing it however if you do watch it then you have no moral grounds to be judgmental of this job. It's so weird to me that a country as open sexually as Japan is would have such a hard time accepting sex when it's someone they know. I don't have any issue of a family member wanted to join the sex industry. The industry you choose doesn't matter. What matters is how well you run your business, if you're paying your bills, and if what you're doing brings you joy. Rubbing bodies together is not a shame. Bad sex is a shame. Getting caught in debt traps is a shame. Not knowing how to provide for yourself or how to adapt to do something different and or better is a shame. Sex as an industry shouldn't be a shame.

@@ii-dh7lq Let me go against the grain here with regards to the popular opinion in the comment section. There is nothing degrading about being a sex worker, sex work does not make you a lesser person or less educated and while you might end up being on the internet forever, as long as society doesn't judge you, that shouldn't be a big deal. Would I want my child (daughter OR SON) doing this stuff? No. Why? I don't trust some of the higher ups in these industries. Some of these people are shady and treat women particularly like crap. But that could improve and has made significant progress as more women started to take control. My second main reason is the misogyny my daughter would face by both men AND women (including Feminists) for simply recording and distributing something that most people do. Some of these women, maybe not in Japan but in America and Europe, make ridiculous amounts of money by simply showing the physical intimacy I their monogamous relationship between themselves and their partner. They're doing the same things they'd do, just recording and distributing it for tens of thousands to hundreds of thousands of dollars. if their problem is about college's fees, then they need to change their mindset about college. nowadays, college's fees are expensive and people's view about education is college. so the things they need to change is not to find the job based on their college's status, but to create their stores or small businesses, maybe food stalls or something, and they learned it from business books or economy books or specialty's knowledges. that means, they should view money as positive, as long as it's not scams. one japanese business savant once said, "money is bad, but poverty is poor to the soul, poverty is leading men to mobster and women to prostitution." they need to have happy family relationship as well
@jhsemoxitha38212 жыл бұрын
You are saying this based on American scenario, just opening up a food store or never going to college is not an option for most Japanese people, the society and the culture you just wouldn't even think about not going to college. It's different than the US where going to college seems fansy and most people would just get a job after highschool or even drop from highschool before finishing it, in Japan not going to college is rare it's just not something you would even think besides you can't even convince your parents they wouldn't accept it your relatives neighbors friends classmates everyone would keep asking questions looking down and you wouldn't even dare to think of just opening a stall or whatever it's different from the US we wouldn't give af about our extended families or neighborhoods but it's different there the social pressure is so different

As nice as that sounds, even in the UK, there is a lot of pressure to go to university and choose a good ranking uni. Your school will expect it and so will your parents then they will all push you to go and if you don't you're probably just "lazy" and "what are you going to do with your life then?" etc. Not going is still pretty much frowned upon and employers will want those who did higher education. There's a lot of competition so you have to do what everyone wants you to do no matter the cost or whether you want to or not.

So it’s just the same struggle and the same question all over again. Where do you get the money? The people in the video would tell you the same thing: porn.

I find your videos very intriguing. You touch taboo topics and offer unique perspectives with honest curiosity. I always wondered how people from such a conservative culture got into porn industry. Thank you. No parent wants their child to work in porn industry but various reasons that both, push a person away from taking up regular jobs (low wages, non availability etc.), and pull them towards porn and prostitution (no skills required, normalization of such behavior etc.), ultimately leads onto this path. Another trend that i have noticed is how tolerant we have become with the portrayal sex and sexuality in mainstream media such as KZbin, Instagram, Tiktok etc. I think this has contributed towards normalizing sexual behavior. So it might be helpful in future to get opinions from handful random general public of what they think about the issue. Perhaps you could have some of them as permanent guests and get their reactions. You interviewed a father (with iguana) but you could also interview some college students, females as well as males, who are not associated with porn industry, how would they react if they found out their peers worked in such profession and would they ever consider that option for themselves?

They will not touch you (for operations / procedures) until you have paid half the amount up front in cash. It was a dire situation. My father doesn’t know what I did to come up with the money, and if he were to ever find out, he would immediately disown me. He has often said he would rather die than lose face, but as the only child with no other family to rely on, I can’t bring myself to regret it. Imo, both can be good or bad, of course, it is more common to have women being degraded in pron videos, even if it is a vanilla one, but i'm sure that there are bad sides for any gender. At least, there are people trying to change this scenario, maybe one day people will stop saying so many bad things about women who want to and work as pronstars, and just think that they chose this job, because they like it.

I think it's good for us to recognize that there are lot of sex workers who actually enjoy what they do, some enjoy even more than other types of work. Like, some workers will only engage in sexual activity that they actually enjoy, while others may be okay with doing stuff they don't particular enjoy because they want to satisfy they other person and they want the money. Prostitution is the oldest profession in history, there will always be women who will do it, you can't stop them. @ylvabrandt67672 жыл бұрын
@@sleeper9638 Just because something has been around for a long time doesn't justify it. Murder and rape are two of those things. People have always done them and will continue to, but we have laws in order to minimize their occurrence. The sex industry is for a fact over represented by poor women/children and women with history of abuse. It affects the individuals found in it and it sets a standard for the rest of the society's view on women and sex-buying. I'm from Sweden and I've always stood behind the Nordic models way of handling sex-buying as a matter of the buyer being the offender and the seller being a victim of it. When you pay for sex you're negotiating away the consent in exchange for money. Cause let's be real, there's a reason women have to get payed to do it. But money can't replace the emotional and physical trauma is causes. We do not protect these individuals by normalizing men using them for their own sexual desires.
@sleeper96382 жыл бұрын
@@ylvabrandt6767 No, seeing this poor line of reasoning you've constructed, you clearly just don't want women to be held accountable for their own decisions. Murder and rape are not professions, they have always been illegal everywhere. In no country in the world can you legally pay someone to rape and murder. Abuse and poverty are not an excuse as by your own argument, most murderers and rapists come from broken and poor homes, do you think they shouldn't be held accountable? Should a drug dealer be allowed to sell to children because he grew up poor and it's the childrens fault if they buy from him? In countries, times and cultures where being a prostitute was illegal, prostitution was always significantly lower. You think men should be jailed for buying prostitutes while prostitutes themselves should be allowed to continue and even protected. In reality, anyone buying or selling in any form of prostitution should be jailed and as a result, far less of it will exist. And yet throughout history it has always been women that push for the legalisation of sex work and then simultaneously say that sex workers are victims, just like you're doing now. You can't have it both ways. If you want less prostitution then it needs to be outlawed for everyone. If you want more prostitution then you can continue encouraging more women to pursue it, as they do in increasingly high numbers when given the chance, by giving them more protection and incentive to do so. Illegal prostitution = less prostitution. Always has been and always will be the case
@ylvabrandt67672 жыл бұрын
@@sleeper9638 By "woman being held accountable for their own decisions" you mean we should hold them accountable for being poor, suffering from mental health issues/trauma or their lack of other reasonable options? Seeing as the vast majority of women/children in the sex industry come from these kinds of situations. Our morality changes before we change our laws. There are still countries where being gay is seen as a punishable crime. Laws are diffrent in diffrent countries and therefore we can't depend our morality on it. Morality and values dictate laws not the other way around. Laws also change and new ones get established throughout time. It's also commonly known that countries with legalized prostitution have higher numbers of sex trafficking. This is partially because it's easier to hide an underground market in countries where sex buying isn't automatically seen as a crime but also because the demand is higher where it's destigmatized. "Criminalization of prostitution in Sweden resulted in the shrinking of the prostitution market and the decline of human trafficking inflows. Cross-country comparisons of Sweden with Denmark (where prostitution is decriminalized) and Germany (expanded legalization of prostitution) are consistent with the quantitative analysis, showing that trafficking inflows decreased with criminalization and increased with legalization." (Study by: Researchers, Seo-Yeong Cho of the German Institute for Economic Research, Axel Dreher of the University of Heidelberg and Eric Neumayer of the London School of Economics and Political Science) When you realize that most prostitutes don't want to sell their bodies it becomes very obvious who is the victim and who is the offender. Sex buyers ignore these situations and go through with paying for it anyway. Lack of empathy and selfishness is what it is to put it simply. So yes, we should strive to get prostitutes the basic resources they need, that's something that's currently lacking. Let's not pretend that these parties are in any way equal and direct the punishment towards those who are already in these terrible situations.
@sleeper96382 жыл бұрын
@@ylvabrandt6767 Yes everyone should be held accountable for any crime they commit, regardless of their economic status or emotional state. Just as I said before, you're not allowed to get away with murder just because you are poor or abused. You're trying to tell me that women should be exempt from this. And you don't seem to understand what that study is showing, it's in complete favour of what I was telling you and what you seem to be disagreeing with. I said, and the study you provided shows it too, that when prostitution is illegal then the rates of prostitution and trafficking goes down. Criminalise sex work and there will be less sex work. So if you don't want women to be prostitutes, then why are you saying that not only should it be legal but that they should be protected as well which directly results in the increase of prostitution? Like I said at the end of my last comment, if you want less prostitution then it needs to be illegal. I don't know why you think that incentivising women to become prostitutes is going to result in less of it. Most European countries already have some form of social welfare, of which women are the prime recipients, aswell as many programs to assist women and get them into the workplace, far more than there are for men, but women are still choosing prostitution. So illegalise prostitution and it'll result in less of it, just like every single other crime

@Hopium Jesus Outdated, yes it would seem so. How society is changing, yes also agreed. Filtered from reality, that is a matter of perspective but I believe a vision of that reality was presented and that was what I was responding to. I don’t see how any of that is a counter however to my stance that such a situation and it’s direction is grim. It’s a moral argument and for context I’m not a determinist so saying that something ‘is’ to me has no moral bearing on what it should be, if anything saying that something is outdated just proves that there are and have been working alternatives to what is now and where we can head in our future. New is not better, new is comparative.

if you truly put urself in his shoes and imagine the situation, the sensitive part is not really about how the parents of AV girls feel but how did their daughters choose this path and are they accountable for this decision their daughter made! this father remains his posture and blames himself instead of talk himself out of this tragic.

The seemingly root of the problem being the tuition for college... It's as if the society itself is causing the problem. Jobs lasting shorter than before, expensive college tuition, the high cost of living especially in Tokyo area. It's a cesspool in which the porn industry can feed freely without much repercussions. It's such a vicious cycle. I'm still amazed at how studying in college in Europe countries is free, they even pay YOU to study, and the quality of it is good, but taxes are higher as a trade of course. I'd gladly pay more taxes to let the upcoming generation study and improve life overall, than them just getting litteraly fucked... what a shame to use the young this way, disgusting shame.

Once a woman exposes her intimate self online, she immediately creates a liability for her own kids (if she ever wants them) and hurts her parents (if they are still loving her). These types of decisions are called '1-way door` decisions. There is no going back to 'innocence' once you choose the path.

The culture in Japan expect the children to 'repay' or take care of their parent when they grow up. Failure to do so bring a lot of shame towards the child, even if the parent themselves don't really mind. The problem is the culture. That pressure to help their parent out is probably force her. Nobody would work in the sex industry without the money. Working to pay back debt, saving for university, while also studying is mentally taxing. If she is doing this for herself, she would have already disconnect from her family and lives by herself.
