You know what I like, Your planning on making this entire assembly into one unit, very professional way of doing it, keeps everything tight and square, however at each stage of the assembly your taking it back to the job site and dry fitting it, to make sure everything is fitting properly, and "THERE" is where I now know why you do superb work, it's OK to dry fit parts of a unit during assembly, here I thought I was the only one that has to do dry fitting of parts before final assembly, of any project I'm working on, I'm glad to see you as a professional in your field do the same thing too, it gives me more incentive to take the time to go those extra steps, to make sure everything fits properly at the final assembly.

This cat goes on line and just provides unbelievable information and skills to anyone one on earth who wants it for free. I'm sure he'll benefit in the end but it was never guaranteed. He's like a free vocational school. I hope kids today realize that this type of opportunity not only didn't exit a few years ago but you couldn't even conceptualize that a person could or would speak you for 100's of hours just for the sake of teaching you a new skill. He is the internet at its very best. Gob Bless you Richard.

He explains why he's doing what he's doing. I guess it's true that everyone's a critic. Oh, and I have it on good authority that Taylor Swift can't miter to save her life! :) On a serious note, why didn't I think to miter the back by 30 deg?

The tip about cutting the 30° angle on the back of the jamb is something I never even would have thought of. Tips like that from you are what can give the average homeowner a finished product that looks "Great" instead of "Meh". Thanks for taking the time to shoot the videos for us Richard. I have no doubt you'd be done with the room by now, if not for taking all the time to set up camera angles, and explain every step you're doing which makes the job 4x longer.

“Taylor Swift videos...” OMG Yer killin me! Lol. Noticed your floor has potential. Sand it down when you’re done with the wall panels and do something cool - stain or urethane etc. I just finished my bedroom and bath. Was lucky to be working on subfloor - so I was a complete slob lol. Mud and saw dust all over. I even sprayed doors in that room! When I finished, I laid Pergo in BR and then tile in bath. Felt nice to cover that nasty subfloor - looks like some pro did the job. Hehe 👌
