Nice sine bars. Lucky to find someone to fix up that old air rifle. I had a pump up Benjamin when I was a teen.

Hi Harold, Actually Paul found me, I didn't know of him until he contacted me with the gift of the carbide balls. We shared back and forth with email and finally a long pleasant phone call. I watched a KZbin video of a man shooting a Beeman R7 tuned by Paul and it was incredible how accurate and smooth it shot. Really looking forward to testing the gun when Paul is finished. Steve

Looking forward to the rifle getting fixed up. Shooting is a lot of fun. I particularly enjoy doing 800-1200yard shooting as I enjoy the challenges of the longer ranges. Do you ever judge how a hole is cleaning up by how much the air hose moves on the grinder? :-)

Hi Brian, No I never used that technique, I ink the part up an do a visual. These parts are indicated in so I already know the run out before grinding. Steve

Hi Simon, The planet 600 blows air mixed with oil out the front toward the wheel. This help a lot when using the CBN wheel. For the most part though it is the quality of the mandrel from Continental Diamond Tool. As you most likely know the finish of CBN looks different and rougher than Aluminum Oxide wheels but when you check them with a surface checker they are very close. I often use CBN to rough difficult material to less than .001" and finish with Aluminum Oxide wheels. I don't do this with ID mandrels as the finish and fit are very good.

@@SolidRockMachineShopInc I will check on them... I never really had luck with resine I mostly used plated mandrels. That planet 600 very look like the tool for this kind of job!

I love that Planet 600, it does a great job. I used plated and resin both and in most cases like the resin better.

Ya the air rifle's are my thing too. I have some "grown up things to do" with the machine tools no avoiding it. a multi shot tazer that shoots the dart at like 200' sec multi shot like a l;ight saber flash light for blinding in the middle sombody get to work on that.But I'd go 50 power adjustable parralax with a sqewer clamp relaese for mounting just to see if it zero's every time. not much into springers . changing barel's quickly is a big plus choke a tight one with a lap and just see like a crosman .22 or .25transfer port and stuff so it shoots right the crosman .22's are like 925 or so fps with there domes real stable for the price

Do you have a price set for the sine plates?
@SolidRockMachineShopInc
@SolidRockMachineShopInc 4 жыл бұрын
Yes, we just raised the price from $450 to $575. There is just way to many hours in them to sell at $450. I still have a few left in this batch that still need grinding that I will sell for $450 if you are interested. We have a price list of our products at the end of the video that will be on all the videos shortly. Steve
