Put your TV cabinet on legs, that way you can be comfortable watching your TV. The living room is perfect! And I honestly mean that! All your hard work and vision have paid off! It’s going to be the perfect space for all the coming winter coziness! The mirror is the perfect touch! You are creating your own little world and you should definitely celebrate that.

Yes! My thought was to find or build a rectangular “cabinet” -paint it in either same color or accent color to raise the TV cabinet. The lower rectangular cabinet could be same width and possibly an inch larger length, but only about 6 inches high or so. Lower rectangular cabinet could even have a door to keep what is inside not seen. That would add storage and bring up the height of the TV cabinet.

Move the sofa along the lime wash brick wall! They are both stunners, and seeing the front of the sofa against the brick would be an absolute wow moment when you walk into the room. Plus the sofa would be oriented better for viewing the tv... The green cabinet and mirror look perfect in their new locations.

I can't tell you how much I love that white washed brick wall. It's made such a difference. Here's an idea. You can add legs to the TV cabinet that are 5 cms higher than the ones you have. You would remove the existing legs. All around. There are many options for legs.

Just one suggestion, place a old wooden crate by the door where the black candle stand is to place shoes in when you come inside. Maybe put the candle stand somewhere along the brick wall. Wow, it looks so much brighter! Amazing. - my suggestions: for the winter, reposition the back of the couch against the wall and have the mirror mounted to the brick wall in a horizontal position over the back of the couch. the brass will add a warm color to the white wash and put the outside green into the house immediately. Put a wood or brass, open back, tall shelf unit against the wall at the end of the couch near the window for plants and decor. place an end table on the other end of the couch with a big vintage lamp on it for more light in the center of the room. Now you will have room for one or two nice chairs and perhaps an ottoman to assemble a conversation area around the couch. then you could put a little table and chair under the main window to sit and paint or drink tea and read.

Each time I watch your videos I get such a sense of nostalgia - take's me back to when I was a young boho girl in the 70's. I'm really enjoying the guitar music that accompanies these videos as well. Consider hanging a large tapestry on your brick wall - even a large piece of fabric that you love. They make special types of wooden hangers to suspend the fabric/tapestry from. Another idea would be a set of 3 pictures/panels that goes together (Triptych).

Those 2 armchairs you said you would get for a castle - get them for that room - they would look better than the smaller ones there which are more like bedroom chairs. The end window needs something to block out darkness at night and give you privacy.

It's so lovely.😊 Warm and inviting. As I've gotten older, the colors you love have become favorites. My mom was a lover of what she called earth tones, fall was her favorite season. As is mine...darker, rainy, cloudy days. Spent inside with a good book or movie, and something yummy to eat...maybe a vanilla oatmilk, topped with nutmeg and cinnamon...steam drifting up to warm my face and tickle my nose. Or just sitting near a window, as the rain beats against my window. Lost in the drops running in tiny steams down my window pane, watching the ripples on the puddles in the garden. Sigh...in love with nature. Oh and when the trees turn, a walk in the chilly air, face lifted to a blue sky, leaves flying and dancing in the air and on the ground. Oh I do love fall!

❤ My dear I had the same issue with my tv in the cabinet . It was just a wee bit too low. Simple solution, put something underneath it to raise it up. I used 2 old dvd players but I know you could use your imagination to find anything. Maýbe some books 📚 or a thick piece of plywood painted black ⚫, or something from your garden supplies...the possibilties are endless . I think another thrifting trip is just around the corner! 😊I love the bew brick wall. Watch some german-schere videos because you could go even whiter if you'd like.
