Hi Elise, the garden is looking lovely. How about adding some statues and a decorative water fountain to drown out traffic noise? It would be fun to see what a Denmark Garden Center looks like. I have so many decorating ideas for your place and also inspiration to change up my house. I also love paintings and photographs but too many can make a house look cluttered so I would suggest picking out a few favs and storing or selling the rest. Perhaps you can build a shed to store some treasures and swap out items depending on weather and season (store pillows, delicate pots, etc. to prevent rain damage). A future project could be building a glass green house with a flower cutting station where you can make flower arrangements.

The cushions from the cottage are perfect for the sofa. The wood cupboard would sit better further from the door - as long as the big units can be opened - with the small family shelves between the cupboard and the door. It's not just balance when looking directly at the wall, it's the blocking of peripheral vision as you enter the kitchen. I love the wicker chairs outside the window. A chimera would be great on cooler nights in the late summer to keep you outside.

Find a point in your garden where you can take a panorama photo of the whole garden. I try to take one at the beginning of each month and you can see how the garden changes over the year. It also reminds you where thing are and is brilliant if you sell the house in winter-you can show buyers what the garden looks like in full summer finery.

A good pressure washing would be great on all the stone walking ways in the garden And you do not have to use chemicals! Just use a surface cleaner which uses just water to break up the debris and then wash away
