A very thoughtful video Shawn. You’re demonstrating how indigenous peoples and settlers lived off of the land for a very long time. That’s life.
@TheBelrick
@TheBelrick Жыл бұрын
No lol. They were like locusts. They had to be. Semi nomadic because eventually they would strip a land empty of natural food sources. Building zero infrastructure. Then they would leave usually with a population boom because they had no population control. The migration would ultimately bring them into contact with other tribes resulting in short violent warfare that inevitably involved straight out murder of children. Cannibalism. (waste not) , slavery and rape. This is why every male born was born to be a warrior and every female born to breed warriors. And they lived this way for millennia. DO NOT ROMANTIZE THE AWFUL WAY OF LIFE OF SAVAGES.

Even though I have not killed a deer myself, I have helped process deer and chickens so that doesn't bother me. Thank You Shawn for letting us follow you as you do the things you need to do to make your life~~~your life! The drone footage and nature shots you post are FANTASTIC! Until your next video ~~~ Stay safe, healthy and happy! 🐕🏠 P.S. Cali is quite the girl! I ❤ looking for what she is doing! She's cool!

I would say you're lucky because the word luck, means laboring under consolidated knowledge, you have made yourself a beautiful place to live.

When I watch your video, it's hard to believe you build this beautiful cabin. I been watching your other build, but this is great. I see how in between how you helped your daughter. I know your family is proud of you 👏 it looks so big. I'm looking for your wife input on design, too.

And first time you got some help as well- Well done, you get ready for winter, I can’t wait to see the cold winter days with a lot of snow outside and cozy warm oven inside with your family for Christmas. Thanks for the video -again. U.L. Germany

It must be frustrating to try and decide what content to show, even though it is crystal clear your vision for this channel is exactly what the title states. Congratulations on harvesting your deer this year. I grew up on venison, and have a good understanding what it takes to get that animal to freezer camp ( or canner camp!) Cali.. you are and will always be the star of the show in my eyes. Your appearance in the bottom left corner of the frame when Shawn is calling your name from the meadow.. priceless. 🐾🌲🦌

I loved this , it takes me back to simpler times. Actually it brings tears to my eyes. So miss the my childhood! My stepdad and mother always hunted together, only to feed us kids. No sport hunting! I'd love to have a deer steak. Oh my nothing like fresh meat. Happy Holidays from Ohio. Your family's amazing! 🥰
