Harry is entitled to his opinion (he’s shared his opinion about just about everything anyway). When you put yourself in the public sphere the way he has, it’s fair game to have others comment on it. I feel very sorry for Harry. When I look at him he appears to be in the grip of love addiction. This is not the same as romantic love. Meghan clearly has the power in the relationship. I doesn’t appear to be a healthy balance. She shows all the sign of narcissistic personality disorder. Narcissists do not feel empathy and are incapable of real love. They mirror back the feelings of their partner. It’s about power and control. She’s separated him from his family out of jealousy. In this context the song is pretty pathetic. This is not really about the song- it’s just another manifestation of his complete immersion in a fantasy that doesn’t exist. That’s what triggered my judgement. I have personal experience of this by the way. I went through something similar. The question, by the way, was if you could only listen to one song for the rest of your life what would it be? That’s a really profound question. I don’t think this song is a good choice for a variety of reasons.
