Crowbar should at least be B tier. They (along with COC) are the best of the southern sludge bands. They have the slow punishing riffs without the dope-fiend, unalive yourself lyrics. As a prog metal fan who consumes a lot of prog metal, I'd like to let you know you can both be a fan of the wider genre and think Tool is top tier prog metal. Mainly because they are. Finn is so well researched and detailed with his appreciation of bands, especially classic, highly respected bands. Dear Finn, if you like sludge metal, I want to recommend you the entire Isis the Band (named after the Egyptian goddess of magic and wisdom rather than the extremist group) discography as well as Harvey Milk's first album, their album The Pleaser, Special Wishes and Life... the Best Game in Town. They are often underappreciated and are very gritty. They also often rerain a feel good attitude while having uplifting, yet crushing riffs. The teamwork of the instrumental sections is very organic and natural like a Steve Albini record. I think you would possibly enjoy those records a LOT if you haven't already heard them. Thank you Finn for bringing awareness to the younger generations about these hard working, consistent, and original artists. I have learned a lot from this channel, and the edits that give a visual representation are unmatched and make this channel very professional by including great detail and doing justice to a bands' essence

I've been a clutch fan since high school and I understand not getting them. They're just a straight forward hard rock band, no gimmicks or anything except the occasional harmonica or organ part though. But they do it well and they've evolved very well musically I think, they have bangers on every album.

That's what I'm saying. I think people have already forgotten just how good they were

As an avid Clutch lover, you’re not missing anything they’re just not your cup of tea. They’re a fun dad-rock jam band. Edit: 25, in shape and regularly work out, and I listen and talk about many other things 👍 😂 love you Finn
