I once took a super normie girl to a slipknot concert who just asked to go with me out of the blue. I was totally consumed by "corrupting" a prep into being a metalhead that I didn't even think to pick up on the possibility she might have been into me, and I'm sure my obnoxious opinions on music put her off, I can't even remember anything specific I said, but I know how I acted in general. I distinctly remember talking to a girl on instant messenger who was introduced to me by some mutual friends. We talked for weeks, and I thought she was cute. I was into D-Beat, crust, street punk and other types of underground punk, but she liked Blink and Sum 41. For some reason, I felt the need to belittle that music and try to get her to check out the stuff I liked. Unbelievably rude, arrogant and stupid. I personally love Panter A! And if I were a metal guy I would have found that so 😍 cute. Finn is just out here trying to help these poor dudes "Score", as Bevis and Butthead would say.
