After watching your videos my perspective on ants has completely changed. I went outside for a smoke and noticed an ant crawling on my porch. My previous immediate instinct to squash it was gone, and it was more like seeing a deer or rabbit. I watched it for a while, then followed it from my porch to see where it would go. Turns out theres a whole colony in my front yard. Now whenever I take a smoke, I go out and watch the colony do its work.

I am the exact same. I used to kill and squash every ant I seen but now I love ants. When I went on holiday a colony of ants were living out side my villa. I think they were black crazy ants. They kept coming in and filling there social stomachs with food. Usually we would have killed them but instead transported them to the rest of the colony. For context, I am a planted aquarium designer that placed 5th in the world last year, 15th this year in the IAPLC (a competitive aquascaper, but also a religious fan of this channel). I saw wild fire ants the other day by my house! They were moving uphill all together as a giant pack heading somewhere lol. I traced them back to the hole and they had a few guarding the hole and if I put my finger near the hole, the ants would charge my finger to try and defend their home lol.
