I like Moment of Victory more than Texture of Memories. The shields are nice, but it gives no defense, which means shields for the team are smaller. Also effect hit rate synergizes extremely well with the Taunt (enemies can resist taunt and the effect hit rate helps it land all the time). It also synergizes well with the Belabog of the Architect planar ornaments since it requires 50% effect hit rate to fully activate!

Also a quick note the enhanced basic attack generates 30 energy instead of 20!!! Also Fire MC and Phys MC have SEPERATE eidolons so you can blast them as much as you want but feel free to skip spending resources on the phys eidolons as they wont be used after you get fire as it's so much stronger.

Grimro says that the taunt ability of fire mc is a stance that aggros, but it's not. It's a defensive stance which increases her dmg mitigation BUT it only applies a 1 turn DEBUFF with 100% base chance to every enemy, meaning that it's not guaranteed taking into account the eventual debuff resistance from the targets AND this doesn't last until fire mc's next turn but until the target's next turn. Still a really insane skill, but just wanted to correct that mistake.

This is false, turn based buffs and debuffs count down their limit at the start of every characters next turn. Anyone with half a braincell can just press C and see the buff stay applied. Ignore this dude hes spreading misinfo

Quick tip because you didn´t go into it, as far as i remember: The "Trend of the Universal Market" Light Cone is amazing for additional damage. While it does give about 100/200 less flat ATK/DEF then Moments of Victory and about 150/150 less flat ATK/DEF then Textures of Memories, the damage more then makes up for that and is also amazing for synergy with Hook or characters with "Good Night and Sleep Well", "Fermata" or "Woof! Walk Time!" Light Cones.

Hm in the end game when your carry is built crit/crit multi I think the dmg is kinda less impactful right?

Considering that at end game bosses and high end trash still live a couple of rounds (usually between 2-4 for normal trash, 3-5 for hard trash and 4-8 for bosses [assuming standard DPR calculations]) the damage is actually quite good. Assuming you actually invest into Fire Trailblazer and don´t just use them for throwaway support you can go with Purity Palace + Architects, EFF-Hit Rate/SPD/DEF%/DEF%, and assuming "decent" sub-stats (18 good subs out of 54 possible, standard DPR calcs assume 24 out of 54), you get around 3900 DEF at Level 80. At those values, assuming no intentional Crit investment, you would deal an average of 1300 (hitting 3 targets total) damage with an empowered auto-attack and 8300 (assuming the same 3 targets) with your ultimate. Meanwhile a single burn proc from Universal Market deals a passive 3100 damage per round. Against 3 Targets thats a total of 9300 damage per round, for 2 rounds, so 18,6k total over the full burn duration. So basically with Universal Market a single Taunt turns into around 2x the damage you would deal by using your ultimate and empowered auto-attack on the same turn. This doesn´t factor in random hits Trailblazer takes by simple existing, synergies with other characters or even the value of the Taunt itself. Edit: This also facilitates a playstyle where you simple alternate between Taunts and empowered auto-attacks, using your ultimate when ever you see fit.

One thing to add is that if you're using Pela in your team, she has a trace that does more damage for having a debuff active and that can be amplified further by using the 4 star Good Night And Sleep Well light cone that raises her damage further for each debuff on a target. Burn, freeze, and defense down? 83% damage with just the R1 variant.

Light Cone "Defend" is superbly underrated and can actually be good if your trailbazer stacked with def + speed. he literally can solo support and heal himself every few turns, which enabling you to have more dps/debuffers in your team.

11:04 just wanted to note that the way you worded this makes it sound like the taunt only lasts until trailblazer's next turn, but if i'm not mistaken, in my experience i think it actually wears off after the _enemy's_ next turn after you use the skill, doesn't it? (which would make sense since taunt is applied as a debuff on the enemy rather than a buff on the trailblazer themselves) of course whether or not that even makes a difference anyways does depend on how much speed the trailblazer has compared to the enemies and whether or not either gets two turns before the other's next one, but it was just something i noticed that i wanted to point out

Lock-On Trumps Taunt. So you can't taunt them after they Lock-On to negate the attack. Since Tramplers specifically Lock-On as their second action in a row, you can't stop it with MC's taunt at all since the Trampler's first action will be a taunted attack, he will lose the taunt debuff, then be free to lock onto anyone.

I think nobody knows how to build Fire MC at this point. Everyone always says, "go hard in Def and shield gen" but the problem is that Fire MC doesn't actually generate that much in terms of shields. They may take the edge off a hit, but they aren't a replacement for Mitsuki or Gep and I think it's unreasonable to build them as such. I decided to focus more on individual tank capacity as well as damage, and I found that it makes Fire MC much more useful on my team. They take essentially all the damage, and with the Wurthering Snow set they mitigate it well, and even in a situation with no healer they can self sustain, but with a healer they essentially are unkillable. By building into damage I find they break quite well and provide a nice little bit of damage, obviously it's nothing compared to my Seele, but it's still more than the tiny amount they would hit without having built them this way. I say give it a try, and see what you prefer. I have had Gep since the start of the game, so honestly nobody compares to him when it comes to protecting my team.

For the Relic I actually go for 2 pc Guard of Wuthering Snow and Knight of Purity Palace. 4 Pc Knight of Purity Palace is just not good because Fire MC shield is just too small compared to Gepards Massive Shields. Since you get hit more anyway why not just go for a damage reduction?

I do not agree that TB fire is bad for Seele teams, cuz you rarely use their E anyways, and their E's just takes away stress from the other teammates. TB fire works with pretty much any team, including teams with Seele, I use him all the time.

What do You think about This is me? it has same base def stat as Texture of memories (+70 than Wildfire and Day one and +130 than trend of market and laundau choice so quite a lot and our relict will get additional def from that better stats) AND +16% def bonus and nice bonus to our ulti (and we will span ulti quite a lot). ... It would also let us use Herta store points for Destruction and Hunt light cones first and get texture after few months after getting s5 hunt and s5 destro ... And what about % fire damage on orb instead of %def (but %def rope)?

Not sure about how stats are calculated in Star Rail, but in most games, % stats are good but you need a good balance of pure stat to scale it properly However, 3-star Light Cones don't have good pure stats very basic example 120 DEF x 240% DEF => 288 DEF 150 DEF x 200% DEF => 300 DEF

Hard disagree on the lightcone. You are already building too much defense and damage reduction on fire trailblazer and dont need more from lightcone abilities... You have a taunt ability so no need for taunt lc either and essentially scale some damage out of def. Might as well go full defense and Effect Res + Effect Hit rate and get Trend of the universal market. The hit rate will also increase defense with planar ornament set. Basically this build makes all enemies get burned when they attack you for 40%-80% of your def value, and this burn effect counts as a debuff for sinergy with other characters abilities or lightcones. The build I provided works well with any nihility character as well as any characters or lightcones that have special abilities when enemies are debilitated or with burn such as Hook or the lightcone "Woof! Walk Time!". You get an extra 15% def to compensate for the effect hit rate, but since you ignore crit stats (DoT doesn't scale with Crit) you can do some more damage and get better def/hp/effect res rolls.

Preservation and Destruction Eidolons are separeted for MC so dont worry even if you're at 4/5 on Destruction when you swap you'll be at 0 and you'll need different ones to upgrade (they are called Shadow of Preservation and are of a defined red colour)

Don't worry, the video is wrong. The Eidolons are different between paths (elements). Even if you haven't used the Eidolons you couldn't have used them on the fire one.
