thruster direction is not direction of thrust, it's direction of travel. with the reticle set on "down", you'll be moving down. if the reticle is centered, you'll be moving forward (the way the thruster is facing). up, down, left and right are also based on which direction the thrusters are facing. i hope this helps.

With the rocket settings at down you move down, when it's up the rocket points down to move you up...

Makes sense. I can get to where I want to go, but there's something about the rocket controls that's unintuitive to me.

yeah, a control seat for the thrusters is needed, shame its further down the research tree

You don't need foundation blocks for a new floor ? One wonders what they are for ?

I believe the foundation blocks are needed to start a new colony and for placing certain machines. I'm still in the process of learning though, so I'm not sure.

I found the thrusters tricky the controls are very geeky

I believe we can route the wires and pipes through the floor blocks, but not the foundation blocks. I'm going to try that in a future episode. I'd like all of that hidden as much as I can.
