Today we are going over th history and lore of the wretch! Gears of War Lore: The wretches and Lambent wretches will cover the body structure as well as the general morphology of the two sub species.

At the prison everyone was either executed on the spot or drafted into the army. All that lovely gore and corpses on meathooks was form pre-locus attack. They go into detail about his imprisonment in one of the books. Marcus wasn't released because the higher ups had massive hatred for him so dom had to go against orders to break him out.

Roanoke Gaming when they called lights out they would unleash dogs into the halls so if you weren't in your cell you'd get shreaded. Marcus' scar on his face was from when one of the prison staff let a dog loose in the prison yard with Marcus.

Jimmy Tod I actually have the book you mentioned (good read, GOW The Slab) and its actually shown that Hoffman had planned to rescue the inmates including Marcus, but during the intial Locust attack he goes with a Hitman (Reeve something) and goes to patch a hole letting in Locust and Reeve locks him into a cell because he was ordered by Chairman Prescott to keep him alive so then Reeve leaves Marcus until Dom goes to rescue him while disobeying Hoffman's orders to leave him because he is likely dead, Dom gives Col Hoffman the bird, takes Jack and leaves to the prison where Marcus is freed. Try reading that in one breath

There was actually a gears of war comic that covered what happened to marcus when he was in the slab... Most of the dead and mutilated bodies were actually the actions of the crazies of the slab rather than the locust, it's actually really interesting !! Another youtuber made a video about it, I recommend you check it out, it's awesome !

Disorientating is a derived from disoriantate while disorienting is from disorient, depends where you're from.
