federal investigations take time, especially when there are dozens of culprits involved. the AG should have handled this years ago. if it was simply about henyard, she would possibly already be indicted... not that being indicted means much, e.g. riverdale's mayor right next door to dolton is currently indicted and still mayor. blame the federal prosecutors for needing mountains of evidence before they charge anyone. that way they can bully a plea bargain, count that as a win towards their 96% win rate or whatever it is, then parlay that into a political career or judge seat. the last thing a fed. pros. wants is to go to trial. there's an investigation to determine whether or not to convene a grand jury, more investigation, subpoenaing people for depositions, indictments, a couple of arraignments, then a trial if necessary. how fast do you want that to go and not bust their case over some technicality? i mean, diddy hasn't even been indicted... yet, and that psycho has been getting away with shit for decades. you'd think at least holmes would be facing criminal charges, and maybe he will, but that's another example of how slow it goes (problem there is whatever crime happened is in another state, and no agency wants to take responsibility for it). it's the chicago southland, being corrupt is a job qualification there. we have to let the process play out and hope she doesn't get some woke pos judge. the FBI there has a budget and limited resources of their own, so it also depends on how much money and manpower they decide to pour into it. adding yet more layers is the fact she's also supervisor of thornton, and that has to be investigated, also, as there's clearly comingling of funds. it'll happen, just have to have patience.

That Fire Chief is one of the most respected Chief’s in the state and the area. That Fire department is full of members I’ve known for a very long time and they to are very respected. Looking from the outside in it would be simple to say he isn’t standing up for them but in reality they are a FULLTIME UNION Fire dept and that is who is suppose to handle the issues. Saying they have been working w/o a contract for 5 yrs is just another terrible nod to the despicable mayor and her trusty side kick.
