The time has come for us to take on the world-renowned scenic road- the Pacific Coast Highway. We knew California was beautiful, but we certainly weren’t expecting this supreme of beauty and magnitude. We are only two days into the drive up the coast, and we are more than sure that we will be surprised again and again as we head up north.

You have not even scratched the surface. Keep north...so much amazing stuff north of you! You wont have enough time to see everything there is. Amazing things all the way to Oregon. Point Lobos, Carmel, 17 mile drive, lone cypress, Monterey, Pigeon Point Lighthouse and elephant seals at Ano Nuevo, Maveicks Beach (Huge surf waves), San Francisco Zoo and Golden Gate Area, Fishermans Wharf, Marin Headlands, Point Reyes, more than I can mention. Safe travels! You will not want to leave here lol

That's where Im from and sure miss it. Check out Ventura harbor if you haven't passed that by. The harbor is beautiful and the shops are open. Good food!!! Coastal cone for ice cream too!! Channel islands can be seen or take an island hop. Off Pierpont at the end there's a day park you can walk the beach path to the mermaid statue overlooking the jetty. Given to Ventura from Russia. Its beautiful. And yes definitely do Carmel 17 mile drive. Monterey aquarium if you can if not the sea otters are always out there. Santa Barb is beautiful, glad you got to the warf. The SB zoo is nice to. Enjoy the journey!! 🌊🌊🐬🐚🏄‍♀️⛵

Love SLO. Any chance you are going to visit the iconic The Madonna Inn? Has a restaurant and different themed rooms. But the offbeat main attraction is the men's bathroom.

It seemed to be that way! It did get muddy as we left and it made it difficult to get out. You could just park wherever you wanted and we happened to get a great spot!

If your headed to San Francisco do not leave your car unattended. It’s very common for cars get broken into at SF.

Definitely avoid leaving your vehicle with out of state plates unattended on the streets of San Francisco. Tourist vehicles are prime targets for the rampant auto burglary in S.F.
