First 5 Beginner Parkour Moves - How To Get Started In Parkour - Ask The Tapps
In this video we answer the question, What Parkour Moves Should I Learn First?
These are the first 5 beginner Parkour Moves we recommend you should learn at the beginning of your training.
Now if you are in the position where you need to cut some weiht or build a base of athleticism, these movements maybe too advanced at this time. This is ok, you just need to develop this athletic foundation first before training these more advanced calisthenic exercises.
Train safe,
Thomas

PinkLyrics Pavements are uneven. A few weeks ago I was jogging home after a day at work on a route I know extremely well but on this day about 15 mins in I felt my foot jar and fell forward almost bent double but luckily did not fall on the floor. I checked my feet and footwear and decided I was ok and completed the other 2 miles back without incident. Also on my route there is a metal fence but luckily it has bars so I can land on the top and grab hold of one of the bars and use my body weight to guide me over but there have been times because I do it daily and mistimed and landed on a rib. Ouch. That is about as energetic as I get these days though I do enjoy watching others' take bigger risks.

Once you learn how to do the rolls correctly, do they hurt?
@jirkazalabak1514
@jirkazalabak1514 5 жыл бұрын
Depends on the surface. There can always be some small sharp thing that you didn´t see, like a little piece of stone on the cement or something. That can be a bitch. Generally though, if you have 2 or more layers of clothing(like a T-shirt and a sweatshirt), you should be fine. It generally hurts only on places that don´t matter, like muscles, and protects your joints and bones from damage, which is the most important thing.
@aidy7121
@aidy7121 5 жыл бұрын
If on a flat surface, and if you have the roll down and comfortable, it shouldn't hurt that much. Of course your first few rolls on grass and concrete will hurt a bit but you'll adjust to your own back soon enough

Hey guys, I just wanted to say thank you for the video. I came to KZbin today doing research on parkour for a novel I am working on, and this video helped me a lot on what the basic moves are that I need to understand and be able to describe as well as how each move was not only used, but how and why one move could blend to the next for the character I am writing. Thanks guys!

You Bros are great! Your presentation reminds me of when I was having my 1st Christmas with my new wife. I knew she wanted a piano, but we lived in a small place, se I went to the mall and visited a music store. The guy that did the keyboard demo was awesome. Spending g more than I should I brought the keyboard home and gave it on Christmas. Let's just say the keyboard sounded better in the mall.

Problem is, getting good at climbing onto stuff without being good at comming down off stuff is dangerous :P The roll is one of the harder tricks in parkour tbh, you need to really perfect it for it to be painless. It's well worth practising it though, it has saved me countless times. For example when I fell off my bike and automatically rolled (due to my conditioning), walked away with no injuries. It's not only useful for jumping off high things, it can also save you when you bail tricks or w.e.
