First Boss Encounter! ~ ep 3

you should never place workstations in a house; it messes pals pathing, they get stuck quite frequently and production just plumets. Fighting bosses your job is to manage your pals AND not die. deciding which one is the best for the fight and what order and most importantly to retrieve your pals from major boss attacks and deploy elsewhere right away: it wastes bosses CD on major attacks and your pal wont get damage. When your pal get low hp it's time to let it rest to recover hp and deploy another. DO NOT let your pals die! With this rotation you barely need to do any damage; tbh trying to do damage will you get into your way of managing pals and even get killed; your contribution to the fight is negligible anyway. When you aggro boss its the best: you can dodge, your pals cant: its on you to use retrieve and deploy to dodge boss attacks. Also what kinda of difficulty youre playing on? you got multiple direct boss hits and you barely lost any hp?!

I am on normal, and I didn't think of that thanks for the info, I'm going to record today and see if I can find a spot with the 8 nodes in it. I really appreciate the imput!

@@SkullPlayz_KZbinenjoy the game and do not rush, I noticed your XP rate is really high which will level you really fast so you wont even have a chance to enjoy progression and change gear and stuff. DO NOT look into howtos on youtube; your gameplay will be genuine and interesting when you fumble and overcome difficulties on your own vs doing same thing as everyone else.

When fighting tower bosses, it pays to pay attention to the match-up of pal types. I suggest reading the section of the survival guide that talks about this and shows a strength/weakness chart. A ground type against an electric boss like Grizzbolt will have a 16x better damage ratio than an otherwise identical water type would, so it makes a really big difference. In these early fights, the pals will do way more damage than you do. That will change in the late game as the damage boosts add up, assuming you optimize your character well.

Thank you for the advice, I'll try to keep an eye on that. I am trying to make good content and I appreciate every comment I get. The videos will continue to get better as I get experience.
