I'm sorry but my father and his family sold Deere equipment from 1953 till 1990. When I was very young back in the 1950s, I was on many different Deere crawlers and tractors. I've seen it all. Too bad the present Deere and Co isn't like the the old Deere. I know it's a different world today but I'm glad I lived thru some interesting times.

I have a 420 loader that works well for what it is. New Idlers Chains Sprockets Steering clutches Rollers It's nice to get on something that starts and works well till the little jobs done. The bell housing is the weak spot on these crawlers. You have to learn not to touch that front end against anything or you'll break the crawler in half !! That's no joke.

WOW my dad bought one of these new with a blade and plow for the rear, the first spring he tried out the plow and my first ride I sat on the right running board and held on to it. At the end of the field the plow was raised and it cut the center two fingers on my right hand when I was 5 1/2 yr old. Thankfully the family doc sewed them on and I kept them.

I ran transplanters before allot of regular tractors couldn’t go slow enough for the people on the planter to keep up. The newer vegetable tractors came up with creeper gear slow enough to run the planter right or hydro tractors work well. That crawler would go slow enough

I have a '49 "M", but not a "C". My father-in-law bought it used when it was 2 years old, and it's been on the family farm-ette ever since. In the early '90s I went nuts and did a frame-up restoration and it ended up parade-quality. Way too nice to use. So it is just a neglected barn-queen. It even has the 73-year-old "rice"- tread tires!

Ive got a 51 with blade with 1 lift piston on right side paid 1000 and drove onto the trailer most fun plowing snow
