I can't believe Henry is in high school!! First day jitters can cause havoc but he was/is a rock star!! Taking full control of his diabetes is so important and he's doing AMAZING!! I love that one of his teachers is diabetic and hoping for a support system to follow!! Evan and Charlie are getting so big too!!! Thank you for sharing these special days with us Amy, your boys are all such good, smart, talented kids!! Have a great year boys!!❤

I hope he is doing well! My daughter has had type 1 for 12 years. Since she was 4. I used to managed it for so many years and she is rebelling for the first time. I can’t even ask her what her sugar is anymore. She will go days without blousing. I have heard of diabetes burn out and it sucks. I’m hoping Henry doesn’t go through that

Oh no. That is scary. I hope she starts to take care of herself soon. So far so good with Henry. 🤞 He pretty much does it on his own now. We do correct here and there at night and give juice at night once and awhile but this new Omnipod 5 with the Dex really changed our life.

@@dreamflight6000we are on Dex and tslim. I don’t know what happened honestly turned 16 and everything changed. The dr said it could be diabetes burnout. Hoping it’s a short phase!!!

She took it all on in 8th grade and hasn’t wanted help since then. Trying to get her to understand it’s ok to ask for help, especially during this burnout phase. I’d be more than willing to take over again. I’ve heard of this but didn’t know when it would happen

That's how we learned back in 2011 but we don't subtract anymore.. For many years.
