thats it mate apex predators need prey, its the only positive i can take this year from so many seals and otters, ive tried warning everyone from the govermental angling body to the national trust that my sea trout population has collapsed but they dont believe me but in 2 years when theres seal skeletons and starving pups everywhere theyll believe me then, you know what its like mate everyone loves the cute furry seals but nobody love a slimey trout (except us of course 😂)

east winds beat me where i am mate, did see a shoal of young mullet and the usual token seals, its hit or miss this early, if you can find a shoal your laughin but they seem to move alot early on, thanks for watchin as always mate 👍👍

Hello james lol seen another guy menton ur name in a comment 😅 What size of inline hooks would you recommend to swap out for the abu garcia mo coast as the trebles they come wuth are quite big also for for the 13g and 18g line thru seekers .

WHAT WHAT?! i hope they where saying good things mate!! on lures that are about 6-8cm long mate ive been using size 4 vmc long shank inlines, i think on the seeker i use its a 2 inline and i use the same on the mo, gotta agree mate the inlines with the seekers are barbaric if you hook a wee trout on those its done for i think they are headin into /0 sizes on those lures, ive some lures thou that a smaller (pilgrims zeppos, toby) and ive them double split to size 6's and it covers the lures dead on, theres some decent boxes of inlines (mixed sizes) on flea bay, ive just gave up on the trebles now mate i cant deal with anymore needless killed fish esp when theres so little of them about this season, hope all that helped a bit pal 👍

I see them very rarely off Anglesey, lots on the Glaslyn river I used to fish. For me the nemesis is seals, even if you manage to catch a fish they will nail it before you get it in, so completely pointless fishing. Saying that the don't seem to bother bass, must be too spikey, I saw a seal chomping on a thornback ray 3 days ago like it was a slice of pizza 😬🤣👍

i hate seals mate when i was a kid there where like 5 breeding pairs in my lough now theres over 100, cormorants eat the finnock and seals munch the adults and as you say mate nothing escapes, ive seen them even go into river systems and destroy the stock of pike,

@@dazlee3257 they decimated one of the best rivers in my county because there was a hole in the tidal barrier, took the guts of a decade for the fishery dept. over here to fix it and by that time it was too late, i think in the uk we need a serious chat about what these countryfile/springwatch "cuddly favourites" actually do and how damaging it is to upset a balance in a ecosystem by rehabiltating creatures that should really be left to natural selection

@@whitetroutchannel yup apart from a few high water salmon and trout running straight through, there was nothing but eels and par in normal/low water.
