First fire (literally) after 20 years | 1984 Harley Davidson FLT Tour Glide Classic

I’ve started repairs on my new project, the 1984 FLT that’s been sitting 20 years… first issue no spark, checked all connections and found some issue with the coil power blade connections. While I wait for the carb rebuild kit I figured let’s check if it makes noise and fire with the help of a little starting fluid. It did both! Very good feeling and I’m certain she will run well once the rebuilt carb is in place.
