The First Fusiliers have been preparing to lead the Nato multinational battlegroup in Estonia for a second time.
Last in the Baltic State in 2020, the Wiltshire-based soldiers were testing themselves on the British Army's main German training area in Sennelager.
They will be back in the autumn on a mission to reassure the Estonian nation, once ruled by its Russian neighbours.

I believe that there was UTube video going around showing a squad of UK soldiers attacking the Taliban whilst on patrol in Afghanistan everyone claimed it was the SAS But if I remember correctly it was the Fusiliers. That says something about their professionalism.

I think the older style of DPM camouflage was better for forests like this, that is what I wear for hunting. The newer MTP style is too 'grey' it is good for Autumn and Winter but sticks out a bit at this time of year in Europe. If you are trying to train drivers to move obstacles they won't learn much by pushing over small piles of loose rotten wood. Wrap some cables, concrete and bits of steel into it so they have to actually get good. Cables and wires are the trickiest things to deal with on a dozer, if an operator is not experienced with them they can get into a real pickle very quickly. If I was putting up a barrier to stop a machine like this I would fell a load of trees over the road and then wrap steel cable and rebar through the entire mess, then cover with soil, with grenades in jam jars or mines in tricky spots. You can't push it out of the way unless you have a very large excavator it has to be dismantled, good luck using a chainsaw, you have to use a rescue chain and grinder, they are very slow. This is the method I use to stop travellers accessing land on farms it is very effective (not the grenades!).

It’s clear to me that Defence strategy and spending needs to be taken out of the control of Parliamentary rotations . The only think they should debate is policy and deployment. Parliament has shown that it cannot prioritise defence beyond the electoral cycle. Defence planning , resourcing and capabilities need a 15 year cycle not the latest manifesto pledge or electoral gimmick. 🤷🏻

@@charliekilo8944 It would take up thousands of soldiers to train and command these conscripts. You can't have conscripts commanded by conscripts so if there were 200,000 conscripts, then you'd need at least 40,000 non conscripts assigned to these units.

These soldiers are there to protect the status quo so the obscenely wealthy Globalist Banking Cabal can maintain control of the global economy. World War 3 being fought in Ukraine currently is about that issue ONLY. It appears to be about Ukraine Russia but it's not. The Globalist Banking Cabal want to keep access to their money printing monopoly so they can keep raping the world's resources and using these foolish soldiers to kill anyone who opposes the Globalist Banking Cabal.
