The devastation in the NC mountains as well as eastern TN is unimaginable. Entire towns are gone and even I-40 has been washed out. I pray many will find it in their heart to help somehow.

The camera looks good and I think Bermuda is probably the best for the church. My Johnathan Green came in great but couldn't deal with the Carolina heat. Prayers for all dealing with the aftermath of hurricane Helene.

Site One sells a lot of rye grass it is for the high traffic application such as golf courses and ball fields. I would have been tempted to go with a KY31 fescue due to its hardiness, low maintenance and disease resistance considering you don’t have any automatic irrigation When I lived in Arizona it was a thing for people who wanted to have grass year round to have both a warm and cool season grass, as one goes dormant the other is thriving. I had a xeriscape so no grass just rocks and hardy plants mostly cactus and Bougainvillea

PRG is ok with 80 degrees, it's just the hotter it gets, the more it needs water, bc it's roots are not that deep. I think that's why some viewers wonder why you didn't just go with JG Black Beauty, all tall fescue. Bc with it, probably be able to survive all year, just need w watering per week during summer.

I have a small lawn section, and I used Black Beauty last fall. Unfortunately, it got completely torched this summer, and all of it died. I can’t imagine using PRG. I’ve heard nothing but great things about JG, but I personally wouldn’t try that again for my entire lawn.

Video quality seems a lot better with the Gopro. I usually mix a little ryegrass with my tall fescue. If you are using spreading fescue and the ryegrass dies out then the tall fescue will fill in those spots. That's what I have noticed in my lawn anyway.

I listen to Greg Phillips channel on U tube. He was a golf coarse super . He says Yukon Bermuda is working for him way up in WV. I hate the stuff myself but it is probably best at the church. Thanks for testing the rye grass,

Good to hear, and I'll have to start looking into those options, possibly by next springish

I’m actually looking into this blend bc it doesn’t have KBG like the ultra version. It gets hot and dry summer the summer up here in New England and I really don’t want to get an irrigation system 🤣

Video quality looks great. Also, is it me or did that 120 refresh rate make your hair look darker? 😂

I got the same JG Ultra, and for my area (TN) it came with the Hybrid for the Bluegrass. I doubt the ryegrass will survive. I think you'll need a lav mic for that gopro (you most likely know that). If you give a mouse a cookie, one thing leads to another !

I really feel bad for Florida. You're legally required to have insurance, but no laws to make them pay out. Smdh

ryegrass lawns are pointless w/o inground irrigation of a beehive-type setup
@MrFergusonLawn3 ай бұрын
@@the26local96 Well that’s not true at all lol. I would rather have rye than Poa any day. Secondly, you can’t learn about a grass type without trying it. So pointless is a really bad take.
