I'm SO jealous. I'm in southeast Michigan and the ice is no good here as of Jan 19. We got ice during that deep freeze around Christmas but I was unavailable to try anything yet. Pulled my BayRunner shanty out and got it ready and it's been mild weather ever since. Finally had some ice growing and just got 40 temps all week again. My gf wants to try ice fishing with me for the first time but there's no ice! Hopefully soon! Can't wait.

For most Minnesota from the week before Christmas until the second week of February 20 ° is great weather he's more north than me but it still stands especially in his neck of the woods. Like when it goes from negative 20 to 20 we be outside with sweatshirts and t-shirts on acting like it's fall or spring. I really think there's something to living in the midwest especially the northern Midwest. Nothing makes you humbler then having to go outside and scrape off five inches of ice off your windshield before you go to work and there's no sun LOL and in the summer it's so hot that you can barely stand being outside. I still say that Minnesota is the only state in the Union where you have to start your car to cool it down in the summer and start your car to heat it up in the winter

Love your videos and very inspiring. You can also live your dreams through you. I live in Florida and I dream of going to some of the northern states like Montana, Wisconsin, even Canada, it all looks cozy on video but I had better start local and make sure I can handle it before I make a life change to find out you make the cold seem nonexistent. In Florida we get cold in 40,s lol. Unfortunately I only have a 5 1/2 foot bed but gonna have to use what I have. Also pushing 60. I may really have to stay close and keep house unless I get an ROA type. Keep it up and best of luck.
