Further clarification: By "balanced" I really just mean that all the strings sound and ring clear (as you would expect a new pack of strings to sound) but also has clear bass, mids and highs. Not overly bright. Sometimes new strings have this weird, trebly, thin sound and you have to wait for them to break in to sound a little fuller(?) and I did not get this with the Silver Slinky's. They sounded full and clear as soon as they got on my strat.

Sound interesting to try - but wow people on Amazon are already asking $22 / set for them. No thanks, I'll wait!

@@mattc2674 Wow! Well if thats for a set of 3 then thats a deal, but if it's for just one then that's crazy haha

@@Lucas_Maximiliano $65 for a set of three when I check Amazon this morning! Sweetwater doesn’t have them in stock so I guess that’s why.

I didnt care for the signatures on my LP, but the broadways are pretty good. Might try a set of these top wrapped. The 1/2 a gauge might make a difference. 9's top wrapped is like a slinky.

Need to explain more how they “feel” tension wise under the fingers.
@Lucas_Maximiliano3 ай бұрын
@@rockeye I will cover that more in detail in the next video. I didn't feel a huge difference in string tension, maybe the higher strings were a little easier to bend but not by much.
