I completely agree with you. A lot of Americans say NY is dirty, not worth your time but I love it. I love the vibe, architecture, people and fashion. It is just a bustling city with incredible energy. I hope one day to live there just for 2 years. I have been there twice. My friends and I actually went for 24 hours, it was an epic trip. Looked like you guys had a lot fun. Enjoy it

New York is always worth seeing especially during summer and Christmas. I suggest going to New England some beautiful cities and town with a lot of history but New York even upstate New York is a special place for me.

Whether someone likes NYC or not is down to basically 1 thing: whether this person is able to embrace the chaos or not. Some people just cannot see past the messiness in order to enjoy what makes this city great (the architecture, food, diversity, energy...) - and I don't mean to vilify them as it's sort of a personality thing. NYC is just not for everyone and that's completely fine!

Fun fact, I brought my first iphone (the very first model) in Kuala Lumpur. Was afraid getting scammed as it was a bit shady back then. Don't think it wasn't even released in all countries. But it was all ok.

Here's a NYC secret that we are trying to get rid of. See all that scaffolding around the buildings? Many of them are unnecessary. A contractor may have finished the job 2 years ago but leaves up the scaffold to avoid needing a storage facility.

The people who bash NYC do it for political reasons. Many of them have never been here and are anti NYC because, like most big US, it's run by Democrats. It is truly one of the world's great cities

That was gourmet pizza. 99.8% of New York pizza does Not look like that. Just sayin. Also glad you came in through my part of Queens and stayed in BK (sorry-Brooklyn) so you saw more than just Manhattan since Most tourists go home thinking NYC is........Manhattan and never see anything of where the vast majority of the city lives. Most New Yorker's lives don't revolve around Manhattan. As a matter of fact most of us avoid it like the plague.
