Georgian tradition cuisine is heaven for vegan people, so sad you don't give a try to mushroom khinkali, so many bean dishes, walnut soups, eggplants or cheesey breads, and wine was born in Georgia. If you like nature you can come back and visit some highest mountains in Europe)) wish you best luck

I visited Georgia in July of 2019. The country is truly amazing! It is a shame that their foods are not really vegan-friendly, as I think their cuisine is one of the best in terms of Eastern Europe. I know you guys are moving quick to reach the 100 country goal. Maybe after that, you can revisit Georgia and travel outside the capital city, as there are many beautiful sights in the "countryside", there's a coast city with beaches, and even a small town where you can do hikes on the Caucasus mountain ranges.

Yes, we'll absolutely return to Georgia! Hopefully more places will open up that serve vegan versions of traditional dishes😍
@lukaurushadze36062 жыл бұрын
The cuisine is really vegan friendly, they have countless dishes. My favorite is Ghomi, Lobiani and bean dish variations for example, there are others like Badrijani, Ajapsandali, Pkhali, Cabbage Chashushuli, red cabbage salad, Georgian cucumber/tomatoes salad with walnuts, Martsveni, Ghandzili and countless others. Even more dishes in Vegetarian cuisine, like the most famous Khatchapuri

@@doopedoog A vegan lifestyle is a great way to live your life! You stay younger, have more energy and live more ethically. Animal products are a substantial part of your diet, as I understand. You are free to eat as you wish. You are also welcome to try non-animal foods, as they are healthy and may make you feel good 😉 Perhaps your large selection of vegan options is aimed towards tourists. It is growing in popularity.

Jacob Harrison I really have absolutely no idea what the other guy is talking about, Georgia is a very vegan friendly country! According to our religion we can’t eat meat or animal products for almost the majority of the year for our fasting, so yes lots of our food accommodates to vegans. I would recommend the walnut and eggplant dishes, they are very good

As a Georgian transgender woman, I want to say that Georgia is a post-Soviet country , which means that there are still people who oppose the LGBTQ+ community. But I always say that Georgia is the safest and freest country among the Caucasus, like a transgender, I will now only talk about me, because everyone has different situations. if you ask me, do I feel safe here? Yes of course ! but that's only because I look like a cis woman and I'm officially a woman in my papers. Unfortunately, there were cases when transgirls were killed, but that was many years ago, in the past. From year to year Georgia is getting better and better, safer and safer, but we still have a lot to do. With all my heart, I still do not recommend you to openly show that you are part of the LGBTQ+ community, despite this wonderful dynamic, because none of us is immune from psychos.
