Since most commercial animation is done in teams with established workflows, wonder how Procreate Dreams will fit into that system.

I not even sure, possibly some iCloud integration. I was honestly thinking about that & if i were to add other artists to a bigger project how would we collaborate. Your guess is as good as mine.

Dreams looks amazing but it will be missing some important features that will no doubt be added sooner than later. If you can work without them you might not need adobe anymore. I quit adobe years ago and have been surprised how easy it has been. If you need rigging tools, i dont dreams will ship with them but at the price it costs it wont hurt to get a feel for it and see how soon it begins to catch up to the adobe app.

You’re absolutely right, but I am curious now lol, what are you using to composite your “sequences” ? The way that I see Dreams working in my production cycle is helping speed up my preproduction processing when it comes to sequencing my complementary animations before I composite them in premiere.

I know it's not exactly conventional but I have been using Apple's Motion app in place of after effects for composting and it's an odd duck of a program but does what I need. I did have to buy a plugin for puppet tool transformations but it's been fine with my 3D and 3D animations and documentary work. From what I have seen, Dreams might be all you need to even edit a final animation. I am super excited to get my hands on it. @@Robin_Kamari

After playing with dreams for a few weeks, although it’s frustrating, having so many basic features missing (specifically Lasso and merge layers), I’m still having more fun than I could have ever imagined, discovering how to work around current limitations with it’s extraordinary, unprecedented interface. I could care less about rigging and (so-called time saving) features My secret dream has always been to discover how Fleisher Studios approached those magical, Popeye and Betty Boop cartoons. The unparalleled breakthrough of Procreate Dreams is making my dreams. Come, true! The navigation alone is truly a futuristic paradigm shift that Tony Stark himself would be proud of 😜😎

@@Tonabillity yes! You can fake the deep focus those cartoons had but using model sets and multicam set ups! I have been using toon squid which is amazing and has many of the missing features dreams needs but i think dreams is going to jump ahead sooner than later. The live previews alone area huge time saver already.

@@vincent-louisapruzzese2652 They’ve already jumped ahead in MANY areas especially UNPARALLELED NAVIGATION Have you SEEN Aaron Blaise’s stunning, penguin Animation? He has unprecedented camera shots that can’t be easily accomplished in any other program. 🤷🏾 I’ve also been using ToonSquid from the beginning, and like ALL apps (including dreams) it was lacking every feature in the book upon launch. Dreams has until the end of time to continue upgrading it’s application And I’m HERE for it!🔥
