I got one of these lately. Much of the Sanrenmu knives are of amazing quality, and give new meaning to the phrase "sharp out of the box". Other than it's weight, I have no issues. It's just a tad heavy for all day toting. But to drop in a field jacket pocket, or pocket of a Carhardt jacket on a weekend, it's great.

They Are more like 30 bucks now if you can find one. Still a far better value than anything else I've seen. Closest may be the Byrd knives.

I would love to see an update video about this knife if you still have it?

13irishsailors, I do still have it and I’m planning a follow up vid. I’ll move it up in the queue.

If I were a rich man I most certainly would buy a Sebenza (or two, I have a replica of the small one, and it is excellent, especially for just over € 11🤗, still I have to say for EDC I prefer my Ganzo FM759 which was just a under € 12😯). Just saying, Spyderco's are a bit less overpriced than CRK's🤐

Not to knock Chris Reeve but the Sebenza design is very ambiguous and easy to duplicate. That said, at $12-$25 they would have to sell an almost impossible number to do any real harm to the Reeve empire. The majority of those purchasing Sanrenmu knives could never afford to drop over $400 on a production knife. I won't even go into the attempted justification of charging $400+ for a production knife. I think it's absurd. I have no problem paying a noncompetitive company for a similar design at an excellent price with impeccable quality. I just ordered a larger Land 912 for $25 and it is worth every penny.

Aside from the fact that a sebenza is worth every penny and will last the lifetime of the owner . And this knife will not

710 or 912 for EDC ?
@SuburbanPathfinder2 ай бұрын
@@Barelo actually I love the 912 but I find the smooth stainless a bit too slick. I think the smaller size and slight texturing on the frame would make the 710 better for EDC.

I got my hands on one of these from GearBest, and right out of the box it reminded me of the action and quality of the RUIKE knives. I'm tempted to keep it for myself, as I will probably regret selling it. Apparently this Land 912 model and LAND brand is no longer a part of Sanrenmu. Why? I have no idea... maybe Sanrenmu is trying to clean up their collection and stick to only original designs? Sanrenmu is a very reputable company in terms of quality manufacturing. They definitely manufacture RUIKE, Real Steel, and some Spyderco and SOG products as well. I'm going to continue giving them my business, and passing their amazing knives on to my customers.

Thanks for the feedback! Despite the rather dubious origins of its design, the knife continues to impress me after several months of use. I actually bought two and gave one to my dad. He tells me it's the only knife he's been carrying recently.

@@SuburbanPathfinder Yeah, all other things aside... if you can produce a knife that performs and feels this well, you deserve praise. Now if only they changed that design JUST enough more to make it more unique. There are only a limited amount of shapes when it comes to knife design. Everyone gets idea inspiration from everyone else, in any creative field... but the point is to "make it your own" enough where it doesn't look like a blatant copy. Ganzo sort of shot themselves in the foot when they started blatantly copying other knife designs, as most of the EDC community really doesn't like clones. Then you have the folks that would never be able to afford a Spyderco or Benchmade, and they eat them up with a spoon.

@@ArenaAccessories Ganzo's a whole other can of worms. I've got a few and have had a largely positive experience but I'm really leery about reviewing them here because of the negative general opinion about the brand.
@ArenaAccessories5 жыл бұрын
@@SuburbanPathfinder My sentiments exactly. I have sold hundreds of them, but to be honest I really am unsure if I want to continue to carry them. The sales haven't been as hot as they have 1-2 years ago, with other budget contenders like Ruike and Sanrenmu taking the forefront. While I don't have any beef with Ganzo, we have to also be careful what we tie our cash up into. The newer models are a step in the right direction, and even their steel Rockwell hardness tests have proven "better than claimed" in most cases. Hardness tests by luvthemknives have proven to be a great resource. Once Ganzo discontinues more of their "copycat" models, perhaps they will win back some of the adoration of the EDC community. The EDC groups on Facebook are snobbish against all of the Chinese budget brands, in most cases; except the the China knives groups of course.

What are they complaining about with clones or copies? ...which is Chevrolet traverse or GMC Acadia for example and many copies made in the USA... the conclusion is that if a clone is better I will buy it especially if it is cheaper... purists can give away their money
