The Mack Weldon swim trunks and board shorts are a great pickup for the summer. Premium materials and fit make for a great combination to look good in the summer. I am preferable to trunks even though I am a tall 6'4 mostly built with leg. Show those knees!
When looking at board shorts vs swim trunks it largely comes down to length and the comfort you have with exposure of your legs. embrace it.

Not sure if they changed their mesh liner but the pair I got was rough as sandpaper and all I could feel was sharp seems. Nothing soft about it at all. Wouldn't recommend the trunks.

Cut them out and just wear the shorts as they are without the liner

Great review! I'd been thinking about getting these just this week. I'm more of a board short wearer. 6" is too short; for some reason they remind me of my Grandpa's trunks....you wear them well, though, with your height. Have you tried the Weldon AirknitX socks? Just got a couple pair & will be ordering more this weekend. Awesome socks. They are crew length though, but I'm not a fan of socks that hit my knee anyway. And their AirknitX boxer briefs are great too. Thanks for the great review as usual. You've turned me into a Weldon fan!

So question about these. Is there any stretch to the fabric?? I find that to be more comfortable.

Yes has just enough stretch to move and be comfortable but keep their form

"Technically superior" is a funny phrase in this case, took me awhile to understand you meant the technology that goes into the fabric and not "This says it's the best fabric buuuuuuuut..."

Dmorktry Thankfully, that’s not what the phrase means, so there shouldn’t have been any confusion. Your initial thought would be better captured with “supposedly superior” ... “technically superior” just has one meaning and OP used it correctly

osuguy555 No. Many people are against LGBT and The Kavalier is a growing channel. He would like to get as many subscribers as possible, so he has to appeal to as much of a wide variety of subscribers s possible. Lately, he has veered away from men's wear for other review types. Did he give a nod towards Trump or Clinton? No.

If you think they're too short it's because you have stick thin bird legs and need to work out. For guys who do work out, they're perfect.
