I use tents a lot especially in bad weather. Major issue I see if the very low bath tub on the tent regardless of where you pitch, the low bath tub is a major issue in the rain. The ground sheet looks a bit flimsy as well

I liked your "matter of fact" style review even though the tent had it's limits. I also liked that you seem genuinely disappointed about some of the features. Again not a bad thing! I liked that you ,me and the audience learned as you learned. Thank you for your efforts! Btw I still like the tent!😊 😊

I really like the design of the tent. Currently have a Gazelle T4 and it's great. But it'll be too large to fit in my CRV once my other boys are old enough to come with camping. I'll up getting a truck and RTT in the bed. Just because it'll be the easiest with an adult and 3 kids. If I was by myself. I would probably go with your tent cot solution

As the Gazelle and many others using this umbrella system, it's too long when packed so it does not fit easily in a regular trunk. The only umbrella tent that does not have a long shape when packed that I know of is the Decathlon 2seconds Easy but it only exists in 2 or 3p and you can't stand up in one.

@@MattKester Well remember the night on Rug Road between Mammoth and Klondyke with the Mountain Lion running around? Hanna did not bark but was wondering what was outside. I really like my Gazelle, but there are times I would like to have something a bit lighter, and can pack up quickly. This looks like an option.

These tents are insanely too large, you have to strap them on the expensive roof rack to justify all the money you’ve wasted with the “overland” tag….

57" isn't very long when compared to the Gazelle and OzTents that are way over the 60" measurement.

@@toddhoffmaster6057 the oz and gazelle tents are unreasonable as well. What’s wrong with a 4-6 man REI or big agnes type tent? It might take 5-10 more minutes to set up…they are 1/10th the size and weight “packed”. I believe Americans day dream way too much about Australian or South African overland gear…the US has way better camping gear to choose from.

I like the clean cut facial version of you - you sexy man.😂 I see a tent setup competition coming up at our next camping trip - Gazelle/OzTent/Poler/rooftop. This is definitely a summer/3 season tent. I have a couple of army stretchers looking for a good home if you want them.
