Yeah the ultra old tracks don’t have the PBR shaders. So the lighting doesn’t properly reflect off the textures and surfaces as they do on the new stuff

The road course coming back into the speedway is so much better. It was pretty rough on the old layout, they've smoothened out and widened the infield corners through oval 3 and 4.

God this track was iRacing's red headed step child until this update. Genuinely never understood with it being an hour from their HQ why it got treated so poorly from an art perspective when it would have cost them very little to send someone up and grab pictures and update the thing compared to the updates and additions they have added over the years. I suppose if you're not going to make any more money off of it, why spend the money on it. I mean, the only reason its getting any update is because they kind of have to for NASCAR 25. Still crappy to do considering this track hadn't been truly updated in 15 years. Edit: Okay, I wrote that before I got to the end and the STARK difference between the grass alone is kind of an issue here on paid content. For the last 5 years, this track should have been half price. The quality doesn't even remotely compare to the modern stuff and its absurd they were charging the same price.

I have the same thoughts about Stafford... it's in their backyard and hasn't been touched for 16 years. It's one of if not the best short track on the sim and a lot of people would enjoy it if it got the updates... including night lighting since almost all of Stafford's races are held in the evening and go into night. Would be nice
