Carbon fiber doesn’t show signs of stress and wear until it fails. That’s why real designers never use it for submersible hulls. Metal gives you signs that a problem is developing. Carbon fiber simply fails. And it WILL fail eventually if you keep using it. Just because it worked fine the first 10 times doesn’t mean it’s safe. It just means it’s 10 usages closer to the time it will fail.

Dropping weights was for slowing down the descent as they were approaching the bottom.

I recently watched a vide about an accident at an oil ring and the pressure was "only" about 7-9 atmosphere i believe. Around 70 meters deep, only 1 survived but wasnt on the low pressure area. Everyone in low pressure habitational area instantly died, blood boiled and in body recovery most were unrecognizable with body parts scattered and blood all over the walls, lile they exploded, its insane, just to say that at the depth these people were it happens faster than blink of an eye, hell may even be faster than neuron conection holy and the body is just squashed into a soup with the water.

They dropped 2 weights to keep the submersible neutral buoyant. If they drop more than they are positive buoyant and float to the surface.

Why is there a motorcycle tie down holding this thing together. No pictures i have seen show this tie down when it first went into the water.

it is my understanding the carbon fiber would have groaned immensely if it started to de laminate, thus the release of 2/4 weights they had as they knew it was bad. "all good here" has been reported as some of the last words, what are the actual last words?
@wizard5637
@wizard5637 4 ай бұрын
Wrong. Dropping weights was for the purpose of slowing the descent as they approached the bottom. The hull failure was instant. Everything is instant at that depth.

@@wizard5637I thought they dropped weights for ascent but you are correct it is for the descent. The engineer who testified did say the carbon fiber would "scream" for a few minutes before imploding. I thought maybe they dropped the weights as an emergency measure. Unless the ring detached then it was instant with no sound or warning

Have you ever read the next verses? John 3:16 16 “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. 17 For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him. 18 Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God. 19 And this is the judgment: the light has come into the world, and people loved the darkness rather than the light because their works were evil.
