To be honest, take your own sweet time to get married or think about getting married...being a 26 year myself I can understand what kind of questions people around you ask but I too feel it is my time to grow in my career and it is my priority and then marriage comes if I am ready to later sometime.

Hey girl, heard your views on marriage and I want to tell you something. Yes marriage is hard, adulting is hard and commitment of the lifetime is hard. But it is also the most beautiful thing as well. There is a difference between difficult and bad. If the marriage is abusive ( mental physical and emotional) then it is bad. But if there are two people and different mindset trying to sale through this life together it is difficult but at the same time beautiful. So take your chance in life with marriage. If not today then May be few years down the line. Everyone has a different story to tell. You do you. Do not make perceptions about this beautiful assosiation called marriage and get scared. See if u think that a couple leaving together and are happy doesn't mean it's successful marriage.. marriage is made successful it doesn't become automatically. We need to do some efforts and do you know a life or marriage is beautiful when there are some ups and downs in marriage or life. If u think life should be smooth easy going then of course not.. there is a beautiful flower rose but it has thorns as well there is Amrit but jaher as well .. of u r not ready then it's different thing but if u think marriage is not good thing or not successful but it's most beautiful part of life.. Won't give you any delusions. so by your logic, people should not marry, be single till they are 40, then as they start ageing more, and menopause happens (early menopause is a thing now) so they are unable to give birth, therefore no children . And by your logic, they will apparently have enough money to do all their work, support themselves, be a head in their job, and go on a world tour 😂 (NOT EVERYONE WHO MARRIES OR REMAINS SINGLE BECOMES A MILLIONAIRE) . You think you will love being lonely in life?? Once all your friends become busy, your family gets separated, who will you have?? that's the *reality* And these late marriages in the long term become a reason for lower birth rates, so you will have to work longer, late retirements, less income therefore all the *don't marry* and you'll have enough time Or money for yourself will be just a delusion. This was the core example of what's happening in Japan and Korea., it's not a delusion, the "feminists" Or even men who had donated their initial years to a company/job/ carrier and ignored their personal life, which should have included dating are now forced to give 10-15 hrs a day to work. Simply because these countries don't have a new generation to replace the old one. Obviously there is a difference between having 10 kids and 2 kids. But kids/ marriage should be a part of life for a healthy society and healthy economy. About your mom Or grandmom, are they happy??? Are you happy??? What do you think they would have done in life if they didn't get married? And who tf says a woman quits her carrier after getting married?!! These things should be clear between couples before they marry. These are basics.
