@@strokerta1986 I did it that way on my first bike, a '04 ZX-6RR, straight out of the dealership. Got a '22 Hayabusa back in May of this year and did the same. They're the only two bikes I've bought brand new, so I didn't want a lazy engine by following that baby break-in.

My Yamaha was their first V-4 built with the only engine ever, an electric supercharger. One word, insane. If ones very riden one, that's a section of life that's been missed. I've had guys lose riders not holding on enough at 6 grand, when it jams gas cross-ways. Many didn't take them seriously & I lost two guys. Please get your new bike, I look forward to seeing it. I like and think how funny it is that you never know what you are going to see on this channel. A little over a month ago this guy bought a Kawasaki H2, made about 3 or 4 videos with it, then pops up in Dallas and gets to ride a Ducati in one of the coolest ride videos I have ever seen with a slew of other KZbin riders, then makes a video about why he wouldn't get another Ducati because it is very expensive to maintain...then about 4-5 days later post this video (LOL). Happy for him living his life, keep posting great content and don't neglect "Nina" ...I'd like to see more videos with her in them.

On my V4S I had to follow a 1000km break-in which I didn't go over 6k rpm. That's the reason the rpm meter is lit up in those higher rpms
