Damn man, that sucks! But I tell you what it’s better than several of us did on Monday. I was there, Vsai outdoors x, Yankee Tanker & Arima fishing...nada, not one bite from 7am till 11am. Except some kid caught a kayak track mount waterproof camera that still worked! I was under the impression it just wasn’t time yet. You guys happen to get all the mud bugs from the rice farms across the way draining there fields? BTW that’s some cool ass footage of the lightning!

The out going tide seems to be the best bite. I saw a few pulled up there recently but the crawdads was from a buddy or my brother so I have no idea, didn’t bother asking. I wish I can catch a cool camera but then I would do my best to return it. My 6 year old son had a blast watching the storm roll by but I was more bummed out for not being able to get my lines wet. The next day, well you know what happened 🤢🤮lol

Trolling works but can be pretty tough to find them since the deep water channel can be pretty wide and deep

Yes they are! Last year the limit was one per day. This year it’s back to two

Yeah fish and game has hit me a couple times there and alot of people snag them make sure it is by the mouth or throw it back because I have had DFG inspect my fish and search my vehicle there!
