This is a Porsche 911 restoration that was abandoned in 1994 after being converted to a race car. My plan is a twin turbo Subaru EZ30 porsche engine swap with 400+ HP to the wheels. Stay tuned.

This episode was a ~37 minute roller coaster with nothing coming easy, so all the sweeter when it all came together. So cool to feel like part of this. We saw the troubleshooting for the cam sensor and settings review but not what got 'ya to realizing the lack of crank sensor so quickly. Look forward to seeing it head'n down the road soon!

I came to your channel through Jay Jarvie’s Builder Creator channel and his video on the rear deck/scoop he is building for you. Glad I checked out your channel, I’m a Porsche guy, and while I like them original I think it’s great that you found a way to get this old 911 back on the road, even if that road will be a track. I’m all for doing whatever it takes to keep these beautiful cars alive, and sometimes 100% pure may not be the answer. If you don’t mind a suggestion, I love the color you chose it looks awesome. Consider painting your wheels in a Macintosh apple red, I know it sounds crazy but I once saw an early 911 resto-mod in a similar green to yours, the guy painted the wheels in red and it looked amazing I know this sounds crazy but pick up a Macintosh apple and look at the reds and greens in the apple, it will make sense when you see it, Mother Nature has a way of getting it right when it comes to colors. Good luck with your build and I can’t wait to see the first track video.

Now this is awesome. Been wanting to do a build myself but, I wanna do something not everyone and their neighbors have done. Early Boxster w Subaru EG33 or the EZ30 was what I was thinking about, I imagine it'd be easier to fit instead of something like an LY7 3.6/VQ37de or even an LSX. With early Boxsters being dirt cheap cuz of the crap engine, makes it a cheaper, easier way to have a mid-engine performance car. Esp add in a pair of EFR7163's or GTX3076's or Single EFR 7384/GTX4088 or 4294, and it'd be a hell of a party that'll embarrass those $100+k cars.

Congratulations. I've been waiting to see how you fared with the ez30d 2nd generation (i.e. ez30r). I contacted you about a year ago about my intention of putting one in my 914. After texting the guys at Mighty Car Modes, I've decided to go with the ez36 after seeing their success with Super Gramps. The only thing holding me back from committing to my build was your success with the 911. In the interim, I committed to welding up a chassis for a local racer in exchange for his help on my build. We should be finished with his car in a few months and I'll be free to begin my project. I'll be in touch . Again, my sincere congratulations. You must feel on top of the world. Cheers.

Just wrapped up a 3.6 Turbo motor- about to start a 3.6 from a 964 Speedster- and doing a re-seal on a 3.3 Turbo this week. Had two 356's and two 912's last month- so - all of them ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ . I'm "apprenticing" at a local well-known shop and loving it. What used to be a terrible mystery is now just layers of learning ;-)
