I'm so excited for this to release! I've said it 1,000 times now: if Gun makes an inspiring Superman - the "look up" or "you'll believe a man can fly" version - it will be the best Superman we've ever had to date because that's the core of who Superman is at heart. Superman is THE inspiring Superhero! That's why I didn't like Snyder's "brooding" Superman. Not that it was "wrong", but that it wasn't Superman at his best. So I'm hopeful this will be Superman at his best!

As a Snyderverse fan, I am a little excited for this movie. There's a few things I'm very concerned about but I am willing to give it a chance. If it doesn't live up to my expectations, I'm ok with that. I'm not gonna cry, piss and moan about it and I have other things I can go back to, Snyderverse, Smallville, Superman and Lois. I'm gonna have a listen to the score at some point, I guess it's nice to hear little bits of Williams theme but it'd be nice to hear something different which is definitely expected.

All the people that are skeptical of James Gunn's "style" I feel, haven't seen any of his films, no crude joke ruined the moment when peter watched his mother begin to flatline, dying of cancer on her deathbed, the whole backstory of rocket had no crude joke that undermined the backstory, without Gunn the MCU has lost a big part of it's quality from its past films and now every film going forward. think of the number of good directors in the mcu, josh wedon will probably never return, russos seemingly can't make any good film outside of marvel films. peyton reed and his antman films aren't all that good, taika waititi fumbled with his thor films. jon watts is done with his spiderman films. Gunn among these directors was the most consistent director among them, and the only director to be truly interested in comicbooks from childhood

"The TONE" should NOT be a Guardian's or Peacemaker wannabe feel. It should be epic, majestic, thoughtful and emotional. GRAVITAS must be conveyed! Superman is an entirely different thing from James Gunn's previous stuff. Hope he knows the importance of it (I have faith) And they shouldn't at all go "Punk-Rock" with the music. Superman deserves its epic grand musical-score for this teaser-trailer, just like the poster-tease uses that as well. DON'T back away from that, it would be a mistake.

I was a Snyder fan UNTIL BvS came out. Snyder was a mistake. Everything WB did in an attempt to fix his mistakes was also a mistake. HIS JL was better but not enough to keep hard-core DC fans confident and happy. We were already done by then. I'm hopeful for this Universe, but I'm about 60% on it so far. I think they should have done a clean break from the Snyder verse rather than grandfathering in Gunns's work and the last few films.

The tease here (meaning the poster, colors, music and simply the TITLE) all screams S.U.P.E.R.M.A.N! So I HOPE the movie is a SUPER_MAN film, with HIM in strong focus, and NOT a Peacemaker/Guardian's-style movie with 100 other superheroes in it, where Superman just so happens to be one of them. I DON'T want that!!! And IF so, then this marketing here (which is strong and beautiful) would've conveyed something FALSE, which I pray isn't the case. This needs to be Superman's film, not everyone else's! And already knowing other superheroes will be present in it, incl. a Super-DOG, yeah, it kinda makes me nervous.. This film needs to deliver strongly - There's no room for mediocrity! DC doesn't have any credit here, they must EARN it! If this movie fails, Gunn's DCU is already Dead On Arrival. Here's to HOPE! You guys keep hyping about the film despite all the many flaws and issues we're seeing. You already decided to like it just because, and that's what we call a nicely done marketing. It will be like The Batman. A garbage of a film, slow, boring, that most people didn't even finish seen (Ask on the street, most people just skipped the whole film), but people decided to promote it as the "best batman film ever", just because marketing said so. And I'm afraid this film will be the same... Afraid because if I hate Superman as much as I hated the Batman, we will get to see sequels of garbage. Like The Joker, like it will be The Batman 2, and like it will be Superman 2 if this goes on. Too many alarming issues with this film to consider it "great" to be "Hyping" about it. I'm not hyping. I'm nervous to what I'm going to see, because, based on evidence, all we can assume it's going to be bad. Hope the trailers changes that, but I really doubt it. Especially "if there's no dialogues." What I'm going to watch? People with sad, funny expressions, incoherent scenarios and stuff to keep people hyping instead of figuring out what's going on? Again, they're doing great marketing...But that's not what the film should be focusing on.

For all the James Gunn DCU fan boys I'm happy for your excitement but as an ultimate Superman fan (myself) this isn't doing anything for me! The idea is cool but it doesn't look as if Corenswet is flying?? The suit looks as if it fits and he needs to be in a pose with more meaning! I have hopes for the movie being good but..... I'm getting bad vibes already! Fingers crossed 🤞😁🤞

Let's be honest here the reason Henry Cavill failed asbSuperman was because nobody wants a depressed emo Superman and that's how he played him. Henry had multiple chances but couldn't bring any portrayal of Superman to a billion dollar movie. Even during a time when superhero movies were making a billion dollars like it was nothing. I believe Black Adam was the last chance. Had that movie been a billion dollar film they may have kept things the same with Henry Cavill. It's not like a DC movie can't be a billion dollar movie, Aquaman was able to cross that threshold. The first Wonder woman while not making a billion also did really well. Like I said people do not want a depressed emo superman. They want a hopeful superman. You need to bring that Christopher Reeve style charm to superman. Tom welling was my favorite. Tyler on the CW is also really good. Let's hope this new dude can be in a similar vein

I thought different Earth's have different types of Supermen? So for example Emo superman is from a different Earth vs Christopher Reeves Superman is from a different Earth vs Tyler Hoechlin Superman is from a different Earth vs James Gunn Superman who is from a different Earth.

Nothing is modern at all about this movie nor this Superman movie. Its nuts how ppl think that this is what the general public wants. But it is what it is. Just hoping that Gunn will leave Matt Reeves alone about putting his Batman in with his lame duck of a Superman. He knows that it aint gonna do numbers and won't be a good movie. So he trying to piggyback off Matt Reeves success...smh Hope he just leave it be and let it be its own universe.
