I grew up about 3 1/2 - 4 hours north of Rome in a small seaside town called Tirrenia. I used to sit in the sand dunes and watch the sun set every night over the ocean and could see the island of Elba where Napoleon was exiled to. I used to return to Europe regularly a few times a year to visit but I haven't been since 2018. We used to take the train to Rome as teenagers to see Pope John Paul when he would speak. It made for a great day. Good memories I have.

i love every culture but my italian/sicilian heritage is one of the best...the cars,food,clothing,and much much more...tpr should show they guys our cars from italy....id like to see their reaction to ferrari ))

Rome is closer 2500 years old. Athens and Thebes are way older.

The city itself is currently 2776 years old, but the Foro Romano (the center of the city and where it started) is 2923. So you were close enough

They should also be told that Vatican City is a city-state that is surrounded by the city of Rome. Vatican City is the epicenter of the Catholic religion and where the head of the religion (the Pope) lives.

Teach them about Tenochtitlan and Machu Pichu! He wants to visit mexico so he's gonna understand where mexicans come from But first teach them about the roman empire so they understand better what they watched here

You forgot to tell them that the Roman Empire was one of the most powerful empires in history and ruled Europe and North Africa for over 500 years. They spoke the Latin language, which gave birth to Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, French, and Romanian among others. Almost every European country uses the Latin alphabet. The city itself is many thousands of years old. This is basic knowledge any educated person knows.

this was nice and yes, beautiful city and country. but the colosseum was basically a stadium, and america isn't a country, it's a section of a continent :p but hope he gets to visit! but yes all except the us have their own cultures and foreign and adapted/blended cultures within or among those, the us has hundreds of them, there isn't one except I guess junk snacks and guns and school shootings and bigotry...

That one building that was in ruins was called the Parthenon. It was a place for people to see many things, they can look it up.

The net is full of more interesting and more vibrant videos about the Eternal City, I wonder why you submitted this slow and uninteresting video to the viewing of the two gentlemen, who have seen very few spots of Rome.
