The voice you hear is ALL Adam. He doesn't need any sonic enhancements or auto tuning. He sounded this good as a contestant on American Idol. Many people in the music industry consider him to be an underrated singer and probably the best male vocalist alive right now. You must see him sing "Believe" for Cher at the Kennedy Center Honors. He should have won an Emmy. Celebrities in the audience were blown away, and Cher was driven to tears.

I love seeing new people discover Adam Lambert & his astounding voice... reminds me of when I first heard him sing... blew me away, and ruined me for any other male singer lol... I mean, I can still enjoy other songs, but nobody sings like Adam Lambert: he's the best of the best, the singers' singer, not just because of his tone, power, breathing, control, etc. but also the expression and interpretation of lyrics & meaning of a song. Such a special soul & singer

My wife and I saw them live in 2014. She is a HUGE Queen fan. Adam sings like he is THE biggest Queen fan and not trying to be Freddie. A night we will never forget!

It’s so true! Adam is the biggest Queen fan since he discovered Queen in his late teens. Freddie was his role model and influenced Adam as an artist!
@CandleLight19749 ай бұрын
That is exactly. As Roger said "Adam can sing the entire catalogue in his sleep" and Brian said "He can sing every note on every guitar's range" but does not sound like Freddie and despite that incomparable vocal ability and star quality, stage presence and charisma, all that make him so like Freddie, he knows that he is not Freddie and does not try to be him. He is not an impersonator or tribute act. He is simply a ridiculously gifted young man with a voice and performance skill that has set him apart and who grew up listening to and appreciating Queen's music because his father was a DJ and fan. His not winning American Idol in 2009 is one of the greatest shocks in TV talent show history (check out the backstage footage during the announcement, it's hilarious 🤣) but the winner was from Little Rock. I rest my case!

Roger Taylor of Queen even said he'd never heard this song sung this way before. Many a time, Adam takes the ear piece out. That's all him vocally. Other good songs with Queen + Adam are...I want it all, and The Show must go On. Watch the Cher tribute from Kennedy Center Honors, where he sings Believe. He even blows Cher away. Roger says there's no one out there currently that can match Adam vocally. I agree. He's so versatile

Adam Lambert is a classically trained vocalist. He performed in the theatre for many years. He was in Hair in Germany and Wicked (both national and LA touring companies). He also did his own version of Lady Gaga's hit-Marry the Night. It is better than the original. He performed Believe by Cher but turned the dance number into a ballad. It is breathtaking. Adam's albums are wonderful, and his fan base is dedicated. He has many performances on KZbin that are just stellar. His songs Closer To You and On the Moon on the James Gorden show are definitely worth a listen. They are from his album Velvet. Thank you for your reaction. Saw him in Denver last night. He's even better live. His voice is perfect. You should see him singing Nessun Dorma during the middle of the set when they were performing their concert in 2022. My favorite is him singing Under Pressure with Roger. His 4th album Velvet is really great. He has a performance from home with just him and an acoustic guitar player. He sang the song On the Moon for The James Corden Show and The Grammy Museum. It's all Adam's voice with some reverb in some parts on Who Wants to Live Forever. Brian May calls him a "Gift From God". His remake of Sylvester's song "You Make Me Feel (Mighty Real)" was the song of London Pride and he was the headline act. There are so many examples of Adam being incredible and his funny self. A really fun performance he did on Jimmy Fallon's game show That's My Jam went crazy viral. He had to sing the song The Muffin Man as Cher to the music of Cher's version of Believe. He even added to his shows last summer and you can see him perform it at The Summertime Capital Ball at Wembley stadium. He's friends with the incredible Beverly Knight and they did a duet of the song Falling on Starstruck that they are judges on. He also joined her at her show during The Mighty Hoopla and sang I Can't Stand the Rain. It was on his 5th album of cover songs. I'm a fairly new "Glambert". I started following him after I saw his video of him singing Believe to Cher at The Kennedy Center Honors and made her tear up. He has a really great fan group!

He has a superb voice with a ridiculous range. He’s a fabulous talent and honestly I can’t think of anyone else who could attempt to pull off Freddie’s songs… as a singer myself who also teaches technique (aka how not to shred ur voice!) he is pretty much faultless. V much his own sound like Freddie was. Do listen to more - watch the documentary on how he and Queen found each other as it’s very good and boy did he have to hit the ground running. My son likes his single Ghost Town which also showcases his range but in a less flashy way. He is superb. A proper talent, a proper voice that doesn’t need auto anything thank heaven!

Still mind bowing! Adam fits Queen like a glove! He completely honor's Freddie and does a spectacular job carrying on the torch! He's has got the vocal chops, stage presence and his chemistry with Sir Brian May (he was knighted earlier this year) and Roger Taylor is just infectiously electric! He is also really sweet, funny, humble and down to earth! This is one of those performances Sir Brian and Roger still look back on with utmost pride and astonishment. Adam still has these moments where he hits these stratospheric notes and they have these priceless looks of surprise on their faces like "what did he just do?!" Sir Brian and Roger are in no danger whatsoever of loosing their skills! They just adore Adam! Its with excellent reason Sir Brian calls Adam the GFG (Gift from God). They also started calling Adam their “brother” during 2019's original rhapsody tour. I don't think you can't beat that! I highly recommend the documentaries "the days of our lives" which is among the best Queen documentaries of how the band formed and "The show must go on-the Queen+Adam Lambert story".

Adam is EVERYTHING!!!! 👑 I just saw him with Queen in October and I was right by the stage, he sounded even better than this. I'm not joking. It's all him, no auto-tune. You know it's all him because if he thinks he hit a bad note he always puts his hand up to his ear or takes his ear piece out so he can hear himself. I've seen reviews of him with Queen where people complained because they don't think he's singing live because he sounds too good. But he's really that amazing. Adam is a legend! 🙌

I dont known you’ll see this but I would 100% recommend watching Adam Lamberts live performance of Sleepwalker at Glam Nation for another great performance by him as well as his version of Believe at the 41st Annual Kennedy Center Honors

I saw Adam and Queen a couple of years ago. He was perfection. I really appreciate that he started off the concert honoring Freddie Mercury and saying he could never replace him.

Did you get a sponsor for Adam Lambert? I would definitely do so to hear more reactions. He is my hero!

I’ve heard him sing this at at a queen concert twice…chills both times. He is great with queen but I hate that he feels like he feels like he has to apologize for not being Freddy every time.

When I hear this song, it makes think of the soundtrack that Queen did for the movie "Highlander". Honestly, at first, I wasn't sure if Adam could really put it off, but I was more than pleasantly surprised and think Freddy would be more than pleased with his performance.

You should watch all the songs he sang when he was in American Idol. He made them all his own and he only came in second place. My husband and I bought tickets to see the american idol tour just to see him.
