When she performed Bohemian Rhapsody on her Christmas Show on the 23rd of Dec. 21 it was unbelievable, the power, the control, the perfect pitch. The reaction on the face of Shelly Berg, the 3-time Grammy winner piano player, that accompanied her, was priceless and it was evident he was astonished by her talent. Mr. Berg stated afterward that in all his years he had never encountered a talent like AJ. Shelly Berg has played at the Whitehouse several times in his career.

There is a story on why Angelina performs barefoot. When she was on a trip with her parents around age 6 she saw a little girl sitting on the pavement and she was barefoot so Angelina went and talked to the girl and the girl explained that they were poor so she didn't have any shoes. Angelina gave that little girl her shoes and said she would do all her performances barefoot to remind people of the children that are in need. She's got one heck of a heart. I admire and respect her so much.

Why Angelina always performs barefoot At age 6 Why Angelina always performs barefoot At age 6, while traveling in the Middle East with her mother and grandmother, Angelina noticed a girl around her age standing on the side of the road asking people to step on her bathroom scale to be weighed in hopes of getting some money. Angelina took off her shoes so as to not get the scale dirty and stepped on the scale many times to make the girl feel better. Angelina befriends the girl who was not wearing shoes and has scars on her feet, and learns she is an orphan. The orphan girl tells Angelina how beautiful she thinks her shoes are. The poor girl asked Angelina what she wanted to be when she grew up and Angelina replied that she wanted to sing for the whole world. The poor girl said she would pray every day so Angelina’s dream would come true. Angelina still says she thinks of that homeless girl every day and has always performed barefoot to remind her of all the children who are less fortunate. Frank Sinatra's drummer, and sun in-law of the late Henry Mancini, Greg Field, and bass player, Chuck Berghofer accompanied AJ on her Christmas Show that aired Dec 23 of 21, and they stated that she had the "storytelling ability of the greats, Streisand, Fitzgerald, Vaughan, including Sinatra, to name a few. The main pianist, a three-time Grammy Winner, Shelly Berg, stated in all his years working with the greatest vocalist, he had never encountered a talent like AJ. Did I forget to mention Jimmy Z, the famous Sax Player who worked with Rod Steward, Etta James, and the Eurythmics was part of the band for the show? Yes, Munroe, she has it all! Incredible talent. And, she is a beautiful person, too. Barefoot story: Angelina was traveling with family in the Middle East (she was 6 years old) and they came across a little girl (about the same age as Angelina) who was sitting on the curb with a scale next to her. She was "working" collecting money from people who would stop by and weigh themselves on her scale. Angelina asked her grandma if she could talk to the girl. They had a brief conversation. Angelina saw the girl had bruised and bloody feet and wasn't wearing any shoes and asked her why she wasn't wearing shoes. The girl told her she had none and added her parents were dead. She was supporting her and a couple of siblings with the money she was earning. Angelina took off her favorite little boots and gave them to the girl. The girl refused to take them but Angelina insisted. Angelina asked the girl what she wanted to do with her life. (Remember, this is two 6 year older's having a conversation.) The girl said she would have liked to be a doctor. Our Princess told her to go for it and never give up hope! There is more to the story and Angelina wrote a book about the incident when she was 9 years old. (She is the youngest published author in the history of Norway.) On the way home Angelina told her grandma she couldn't believe there are children in the world who don't have shoes to wear. She never wanted to forget the little girl and told her grandma, from that day on she would never wear shoes when she sings in public to remember how many children in the world are less fortunate and also to bring attention to the situation by singing to the public barefoot. Once, when she was interviewed at 12 years old, she was asked does she still remember the little girl. Angelina's rely was, "I think of her everyday." Munroe, she is a wonderful singer, already an accomplished musical artist and a beautiful human being. If you feel some tingling going on inside you it's her love touching your heart. She has touched millions of us already around the world and there will be day when everyone in the world will know who Angelina Jordan is.

Soon after I share what I believe are a few of perfect songs with friends or family I remember some of her best that I forgot about. There are probably a dozen to 20 or more Angelina performances that are a perfect 10. It's always tough to decide which ones go first when recommending. There's such a mixture to share as well. From her jazziest songs to oldy covers of Frank Sinatra to originals she wrote to Adele covers and of course Elvis How Great Thou Art for the bizarre effect. I take back the earlier number.
