Travis, you ask "Who is Aurora?", well, Aurora is one of Norway's gifts to the world. Seeing Aurora perform for the first time is like having a fairy infiltrate your dreams. The entire Nidarosdomen concert is an artistic masterpiece of the highest possible quality. Aurora has a magnificent voice, writes brilliantly on sensitive topics, possesses magnetic performance skills, is very creative, intelligent, wise, funny, honest, genuine and has a quirky, endearing personality (she is more fun than a box full of kittens). For an increasingly large number of people, the introduction to Aurora becomes an addiction. Aurora's music and persona have a remarkable impact on people, as many of her fans testify to. You mentioned a fantasy movie, you will get a glimpse of such a thing if you watch her HAIK concert of 2019, which was filmed in the forest where Aurora played in her childhood. In short, Aurora is as dazzling as the northern lights that she is named after. PS Aurora was 21 at the time of this performance and she will turn 26 in a few days.

Yeah, WOW!!! That was also my personal reaction when I first heard her singing. She's great isn't she. Aurora Aksnes (stage name AURORA) is a 25 year old singer, songwriter, record producer and dancer from Bergen, Norway. She is truly one of a kind. This time line shows how talented she is: Age 6: Started to follow dance lessons Age 6: Started to compose melodies Age 9: Started writing lyrics in her second language English Age 14: Her family discovered that she wrote her own songs Age 16: Recorded one song ("Puppet") as a gift to her parents Age 16: Performed a self written song ("I Had A Dream") at a school assembly Age 16: Gave up dancing (and her dream of becoming a professional dancer) to focus on singing Age 17: Released her first song "Awakening" Age 18: Released her first EP "Running With The Wolves" Age 19: Released her first full album "All My Demons Greeting Me As A Friend" Age 19/20/21: Performed hundreds of live shows during her world tour Age 22: Released her second EP "Infections Of A Different Kind (step 1)" Age 22 (just before her 23rd birthday): Released her second full album "A Different Kind Of Human (step 2)" Age 24: Her song "Runaway" (released in 2015) has gone viral on TikTok, hence turning Runaway into a world wide hit with over 1 million streams daily on Spotify and KZbin Age 25 (today): Released her third full album "The Gods We Can Touch" earlier this year

I was completely hooked after this performance from her, which was about a year and a half ago. Since then, she's become my favorite artist. There is no one else like this young lady. She is the complete package. You will always be captivated by her, and never disappointed. My suggestions would be "Heathens" live performance from the new Album. Also, "Winter Bird" either the music video or live at Nidarosdomen. Anything from this concert you are viewing now is fantastic. You really can't go wrong with any song. She has no bad songs.

She is Aurora Aksnes age 25 from Norway, she was 20 in this concert. She is more than an artist to the fans that really know her background. She is more like a partial life coach on how to deal with everything and move forward. Very active on social media and talks to people directly unlike most "celebrities". She has had one of the most interesting lives you can find. I could see a movie being made about it some day. Some of it very happy, some of it very sad. And she shows there is a place for all of it. She is very in tune with nature since she was a child, and seems to be Omnist and accepts all religions to one larger spiritual goal. She has been through more at her young age than many will deal with in their entire lifetime. Which might be why her audience ranges from teen girls to old war vets. She has already lost 3 close people to her at the age of 15. One was in the Norway 2011 terrorist attacks for which she wrote the song "Little Boy in the Grass". But the song is more about moving forward from it so it has a haunting upbeat feel to it. "Lucky" is probably one many will suggest. From her words... "It's about realizing that you've been through dark tunnels in life, but still walking forward, both feet strong. We are all lucky to be alive, it's an important thing to remember."

Yes WOW just WOW. Aurora was about 19 here but she’s now nearly 26. She has 4 albums plus other releases and collabs and covers. She sounds best live. But her music videos are great too. I hope you don’t stop there. She has releases that she wrote at 9 and 11 years old. I’m still to find a bad Aurora song. Some are just better than others. I recommend Warrior… any live version is good. Each performance can be a totally different rendition too so you never get bored. I hope you dig deeper into this amazing artist… she’s a different kind of magic.

She has many that she wrote when she was 10 and 11 years old. She is energy in every song especially her live performances she embodies the vibration with that particular song. Here to help others remember the familiarity and connection to everything. "Warrior" Live, "Lucky" Live from this same beautiful 🌌 "Murder song" Live Noble✌️Prize, "The Seed" original or live one. David Bowie's "Life on Mars" cover Live and so much more.

Aurora is absolutely unique. She sings about whatever she wants, in whatever way she wants. That alone should make her an international treasure. Prior to her career in music, there's been some speculation that she descended from the heavens, or emerged from the forests of the north on a mission to help humanity remember what it was like to be human. Highly unlikely perhaps, but I've seen nothing in her actions which would disprove those hypotheses. In fact, the closer you look the more plausible it seems.

She's from Norway and her birthday is 15th of June, 26 this year. She writes all her songs and started writing when she was six! She also has a big role in the instrumentals and harmonies. She's the real deal, this was the first performance and song I heard her sing and I'm hooked! This entire concert is a masterpiece but there are heaps of videos of her out there and she's so cute, funny, quirky, kind and beautiful, she also does an amazing version of Life on Mars and a couple of others too. If I had to sum her up with just one word it would probably be...mesmerizing

Hello Travis, you have chosen a very good song. Thank you for your fine reaction to AURORA. AURORA will always, always, captivate you. Goosebumps and shivers all over my body - every single time I hear this song. For me this is a masterpiece. So much feeling that AURORA brings to this song. This song must mean a lot to her. And the statement is simple and a commonly known truth. And yet as adults, at least most of us, we lose sight through the eyes of a child. I wish AURORA that she never grows up in that sense. Then we will continue to get such beautiful songs from her. We need someone to keep reminding us of this simple truth. AURORA (Aurora Aksnes) was born on June 15, 1996 in Stavanger, Norway. She is a singer, songwriter and producer. AURORA's songs always have a strong message. Often the messages are not very clear either. They can be interpreted so that many people can relate them to themselves. Her movements when singing are extraordinary. This isn't a dance. This is her special way of expression. You can also say that she sings with her whole body. Her excellent music, her brilliant voice and her movements. AURORA's live performances are a total work of art. She is often so into the song that she shakes her body or head uncontrollably (--> Murder song, It happened quiet) and need 2-3 seconds to come back. She is capable of transporting feelings because she allows a look into her soul. Her fans call themselves warriors and weirdos. AURORA once said: People tend to believe quite quickly that something is wrong with them if they're not like the people they see in front of them It's so sad that it doesn't take much for us to really doubt ourselves She was a teen when she answered the question "are some of your songs related (on different albums)?" - it will all make sense when I have finished. - Murder song (5,4,3,2,1) - The 2015 Nobel Peace Prize Concert - kzbin.info/www/bejne/rJmThIqKi9yLrtk - the saddest love song I've ever heard - It Happened Quiet (Live at The Current) - kzbin.info/www/bejne/b4aQf2mCpt-Xf68 - it's about the rape of a woman - some say - these great harmonies - Lucky (Live at Nidarosdomen) - kzbin.info/www/bejne/d563mqSIZ8SJd9k - the song is her way of suicide prevention - The Seed (Official Video - VEVO) - kzbin.info/www/bejne/lX7GkIKDatSBd5o - it's about the climat change - Exist For Love (Official Video - VEVO) - kzbin.info/www/bejne/bYqnnKWAls52qNk - best love song ever!!! - Cure For Me (Official Video - VEVO) - kzbin.info/www/bejne/gWKalZluZrd_b7s - this cheerfulness of the music - even though she is hurt. - Queendom (Official Video) - kzbin.info/www/bejne/rYavloubhtCkmpI - about her queendom?? - Warrior (Live on the Honda Stage) - kzbin.info/www/bejne/f2THp3Zqqal8adU - it is for her warrios - Heathens (Live Performance) - kzbin.info/www/bejne/q6Wug2qqdtJjnsk - another incredibly profound lyrics I usually prefer her live performances. But in these cases the VEVO video is more impressive. I hope you enjoy AURORA. Quotes from AURORA: 1. I think it just make sense to be nice to everything that lives. It's kind of like we're all one body or like one mind but just split up in a thousand people. We are kind of like, if I hurt you then I hurt myself. If you are in pain then I am in pain because we're kind of one because we have one thing in common which is a life. You know, so it just makes sense doesn't it. 2. People often ask me how it is to be me. Which I find to be a very odd question. But then I sit down and I think about it. And I think the biggest difference between me and many people I meet is that I'm extremely free. I've never really cared about what people think what is right or to do what's wrong to do because I don't see any reason to stop myself from fulfilling my impulsive thoughts or doing whatever I want to do. And it's quite a good life when you're free and it's kind of weird because it's this in invisible force stopping people from following their instincts and from doing what they want. Have a nice day and Greetings from Germany

I lost track of how many times your eyes got big & you said "WOW". Your reactions were almost identical to my own. She is AMAZING! There are so many songs of hers to suggest because there's not one bad song as long as she is singing. Many of her live performances are better than the videos. But 1 of her videos I'd love to see you react to is Exist For Love (not a live performance) & came out during the pandemic. Also you must watch her Live Nobel Prize Concert Performance. There are just so many & could literally give you 20 more Aurora songs I'd love to see your reaction. She is truly one of the best I've EVER heard. I just subscribed. She does a stripped version of this that is the best piece of a cappella work I've ever heard. My favorites from this particular concert (Nidarosdomen) are Lucky and 54321Murder. I'm also fond of the Late Show live cut of her song, Temporary High, a newer song. Her best covers are God is a Woman and Teardrop, both showing what she can do off-the-cuff in a small studio. Another great small studio live cut is Churchyard. The ONLY song of hers you'd want to hear as an official video, as opposed to live, is The Seed, which ought to be required viewing for ever citizen on the planet. The Seed is the best music video I've ever seen, as well, song, performance, arrangement, message, the video itself. kzbin.info/www/bejne/d563mqSIZ8SJd9k

She is amazing. You can go wrong with her music. And she is so interesting and authentic person too. She is not only a singer but also songwriter and co-producer of her songs. She learned everything (singing, playing piano) alone without formal education where she was a child (for some time even her parents did not now about it and she started to make music >=6 years old and her first English lyrics was from >=9). Just examples of songs she wrote at a young age even before she become artist (but there are more songs on her first album which she wrote in younr age but not sure when they was written and of course for sure we only knows that she talked in interviews :) ): - Lucky (recommend live version from Nidarosdomen) - she wrote it at age of 9 (probably polished a little later) - Runaway (cool version live at Nobel Prize Concert or official video) - she wrote it at age of 11 But she has a lot of great songs on every album (too be honest love all her songs, only exceptions for very few songs I "only" like/like very much :). Also she has some amazing covers :).

I just had to smile when you mentioned that she should be in a movie… because chances are that you have already heard her voice before. You just don’t know it 😊 She’s the mesmerizing humming voice in the forrest in Frozen 2 😊 Thanks for a wonderful reaction of Aurora. Aurora is an empath, and she pretty much lives her song when she sings, as you could see. Most of her songs has a message. Some her songs are very deep, and some has very serious content. Some of them you have to listen attentively to find that content. But she feels strongly with what she want to convey in her songs, at the same time she wants her songs to be open to interpretation for the listener, and become what the listener need it to be about. Good luck with your journey. If you want to dive in to some heavier stuff, I recommend ‘It happened quiet’ (studio version!) and ‘Murder song 54321’ from the Nobel Peace Prize concert

The woods? I relay these things I’ve read about her to everyone I can. As a little girl in Norway she spent a lot of time alone in the forest with the animals day and night. She was terrified of performing at first but wanted to share her thoughts. She’s a very special fairy/angel with a world wide following of “Weirdos and Warriors” including her two beautiful sisters. Check out her interview “Like a Version” to see another side of her.

She also has a mesmerizing, captivating acapella version she does harmonizing with three of her bandmates. Check it out too!! Aurora - Through The Eyes Of A Child (Live) - Stripped (Vevo UK LIFT) kzbin.info/www/bejne/eXfddquLg5aBbqs

Yes, I agree. It can easily match this cathedral performance, it is pure magic with those next level harmonies. @Travis: It is worth those 4 min to watch, even if you do not make another reaction video of the same song then watch it privately, it will amaze you.

Uh i dig your reactions, and even Aurora? Subscribed for lifetime :D Aurora is a multitalented genius. Try out "All is Soft inside" from her KEXP concert, you won't regret it ;-) Also the whole Nidorasdomen concert is absolutely magical.

We all get lost in Aurora's performances. And that is not even the most touching song from that concert. You need to check out "Lucky" live at Nidarosdomen. Welcome to the Aurora rabbit hole. You have discovered a truely magical place. I hope your journey here is long and beautifully strange.

I think her voice fits well for the Filipino song called "Anak" by the Artist Freddie Aguilar.

And this! kzbin.info/www/bejne/fJ_Ohah-hZ6kadE Like I can't post all of her songs but you NEED to delve into Aurora. She is unlike any singer in this world. And she has the most beautiful soul. She is kind, empathetic, she's an amazing human being in every way.
