The simplest answer is BigBang are the Kings of Kpop. Their lives are insane, they have swag for days. They are a "big brother" group to BlackPink. They do smooth R&B, pop, EDM, mixes of different genres. Their debut MV is Lalalala & this one was off of their last EP before they started military service.

Hi fellow VIP, just a little correction: Their debut was with the single album named BigBang, the "main" song being We Belong Together ft Park Bom released 28 of august. LaLaLa is part of their second single album BigBang is VIP (I believe that is the right name). this one released a month or 2 later. so i would say their debut song is we belong together. LaLaLa in the other hand is part of the album BigBang Vol.1 which is their debut album, meaning it was their 1st full studio album. I know it is not a big deal but i wanted just to add this part. Sorry if the english is not the best btw!

One of the distinctions of Kpop is that they mix musical styles, genres, etc., however they want. They don't separate neatly according to 'western' markets, which is one reason why western audiences don't always know what to do with Kpop. I love that mixing. I love the energy. BigBang are the kings, GDragon in particular.

Big Bang is simply Big Bang; G-Dragon aka Kwon Leader (the one with red hair) writes and produces their songs. They pretty much do every genre. They have club bangers like "Bang Bang Bang" and "Fantastic Baby." Smooth, easy songs like "Fxxk It" and "We Like 2 Party." Love songs like "Haru Haru," "Blue," and "Let's Not Fall in Love." Even in the same song, they mix it up as you can see in this video. They've been going for 14 years come August and they're your idols' idols.

I love BIG BANG and its members. Please react to more BIG BANG. The group has been on hiatus because of the members military service. 4 members out of the five are back and ready to go. They were supposed to do their first set in a while at Cochella this spring but it was postponed until fall. The youngest member is currently in the military and is in deep legal trouble but he hasn't been convicted of anything.

They have been in the industry for a long time. Debuted 2006, so you can't really say that they talk mainly on one topic (like what you said with bts and blackpink). The subject of their songs are very varied. Take for example in their last album MADE. Every song tackles different things. One song talks about a person's downside like being a loser thus the its title, LOSER. Another talks about just enjoying the littlest things in life and their kind of fun kind of song- WE LIKE TO PARTY That weird song, BAE BAE, that you don't know if it talks about the progression of a relationship or just mainly about sex.
