This was Richard Pryor's favorite song. Bobby Womack sang this for Richard Pryor at his recognition ceremony a few years before his untimely passing. Please react to "I Wish He Didn't Trust Me So Much" this song was about Bobby Womack's love affair and marriage to Sam Cooke's widow.

Womack hit: "Across 110th Street". It plays to the opening scene of the Quentin Tarantino movie "Jackie Brown". You can see that and hear the song on KZbin. You'll also love Curtis Mayfield. Songs: Pusherman, and Superfly. Studio versions. The band War. Favorites are long version: The World is a Ghetto (great music break starts, midway), and Cisco Kid is a fun song. Studio versions.

Life experiences has made this song one of my favorites. It doesn’t matter how much you love a person. Doesn’t matter how hard you try. Doesn’t matter if you have givin them everything you wanted. Plus, 3 fine kids that are successful adults. Doesn’t matter That you work very hard to get a life you can only dream of. Even when you have money amd make all the time in the world. None of it matters. No regrets of having a great marriage for 24 yrs. Maybe the only regret is I gave my love to the wrong person who took it for granted.

Deep catalog. He was alsp a songwriter and penne songs for himself and other artists. Check out "That's the Way I Feel About Cha", and "I'm in Love, an "Where do we go from Here" But one of my favorites is "Facts of Life/Hell Be There When the Sun Goes Down" It's about an interaction with a female fan after the show. Don't want to give away the plot, but Bobby was running game, straight mackin! Hit her with the push-pull.
