Translation from Korean has difficulties and their sentence structure is to different so depending on translation it varies. One nuance on this is RM sings Tear like crying and grief over losing something, Suga is tear apart to rip and is anger, Jhope (as fits him) is fear of losing each other. It’s not just the lyrics playing in those three concepts but that each emotion fits the person. I can only imagine the 6 crying so hard when Suga wrote this and played it for them. He’s generally the quiet one but RM says Suga is the one who pushes the group to reach for more and to challenge themselves from behind as RM leads from the front. Musically this song is a punch, lyrically it’s some of the most well written words, and they all ride it rapping with an intensity I’ve rarely seen in other performers. Bonus for the custom Dior outfits, head to toe chefs kiss. Thank you for the deep dive into the rap line. This song Ugh, Ddaeng, and the Cyphers are examples of why we hype up the BTS rap line so much.

Just as you say, there are times when a sincere friendship relationship is stronger than a loving one, because when the love relationship breaks down then friendship will always be there to comfort you. And although there are times when you simply do not have words to comfort that someone you appreciate so much, both know that they are and will be there for each other at least to have someone to tell their problems to. Fortunately, I found that kind of relationship at a young age (as amazing as it is) and I'm glad I get to spend so much time with those people. I can feel a little bit of what BTS feels in their friendship for years, I literally can't even imagine how much they love and respect each other, they've lived together for over 10 years, and after going through so many things over the years... Really don't everyone can maintain a relationship as strong and as healthy as they are, it just fills me with happiness to know that they love each other so much. When the army saw this live performance, everyone and I mean EVERYONE in the army was asking "who hurt j-hope so much that he cried at the end of the performance?" andsome time later it was revealed that the song was written by Yoongi (suga) when they were going through a lot of difficulties and it was time to decide whether to renew the contract or to part ways. It must have been very difficult to decide, yoongi showed the song to the boys and, as they said in other comments, they all ended up crying, finally making the decision to move on. Army had no idea about this and it was a really strong and painful blow, I don't think you will see a more sincere and strong relationship between a band and its fans, it was a blow that made us cry a lot, even just remembering it... it hurts. I'm sorry if there is any inconsistency, English is not my native language and I'm leaning a bit on the translator, just like sometimes happens in the songs, there may be things that don't make sense hehe (and sorry for the long text, have a good day!)

You mentioned about how Yoongi always have the raw lyrics. That is spot on. You haven't reacted yet to Yoongi's songs on his two self produced mixtapes and you can already tell 🔥. Once you listen to Yoongi's solo songs as Agust D , you will be speechless. It is more intense, darker and just really really raw. Yoongi doesn't hold back with his lyrics especially on his solo songs. I recommend 'The Last' , 'So Far Away' and 'Honsool' . I feel like Yoongi's verses evoke so much emotions because he had a really tough past and had experienced many struggles even at a young age.

I love this song, especially this live... The first I heard I ended crying even if I didn't read all the lyrics in order to see them, their passion touched every fiber of my body. When I watched the video where Jhope cries and tell us about their almost disbanding, I cried even more. And now, when I hear the first notes, tears come to my eyes, instantly. This song really makes me sad, because this was written and sung around the time they were considering disbanding. So it is a super emotional song for the 3 rappers (who are the main songwriters for the group as well). I am so, so happy they chose to stay together. Ohh i found this video only by chance on my feed and i'm so happy i decided to click on it. I appreciated so much how you took the time to read each lyric (and went back time and time again to listen to it organically, i can assure we don't mind!) and tried to relate it to yourself and your own personal experience which is, ultimately, what music is meant to do, language barrier non withstanding! This song is so very dear to me and i'm so happy you enjoyed it too. Hobi's (j-hope) part always feels like the final twist of the knife in your chest, it's so excruciatingly good ugh.
