I remember listening to ELO went I was stationed in Fulda Germany 1975 to 1978. It was really great in those days.

ELO was formed in the 70's-80's & mixed modern rock pop songs with classical overtones. Jeff Lynne wrote most of their songs. They had a lot of great hits such as "Showdown", "Can't Get It Out Of My Head", "Strange Magic", "Livin' Thing", "Telephone Line", "Rockaria!", "Do Ya", "Turn to Stone", "Sweet Talkin' Woman", "Mr. Blue Sky", "Wild West Hero", "Don't Bring Me Down", "Shine A Little Love", "Last Train To London", "Confusion", "Hold On Tight", "Twilight", "The Way Life's Meant To Be", "Here Is The News", "Ticket To The Moon" etc.

I saw the song title, and knew, KNEW shes gonna love this. The harmonies, the catchy hooks, instantly recognisable ELO (Jeff Lynne masterful big production) big string background arrangement. Its all there, if you dont move to this, you need you hearing checking. Saw them live around 1981 in Birmingham, so many great tunes. Dive in to them Sarah 💃🏾💃🏾💃🏾👍🏻

The very first concert I ever went to was ELO. Laser light show, fantastic music/vocals, great crowd!! Something I will never forget. It is the litmus test for any concert I go to and I have yet to see one that measures up to the caliber of that first concert. My opinion, of course.

E.L.O. is one of my favorite bands. I got my heart broke a lot when I was in high school, but this song meant even more when in my adult years I reconnected with my childhood best friend. We had four years together but then I discovered that I was only something to her until something "better" came a long. She dropped me like a fart in the wind. Totally destroyed my trust in love and friendship. This song was there to help me pick up the pieces. I enjoy your reactions a lot. Thank you for your channel. It makes me so happy that you're enjoying all these songs that I grew up with.

The "Evil Woman" is based on someone. On VH1 Storytellers, Jeff said he was calling someone late at night as the inspiration for "Telephone Line," and the person who answered was the Evil Woman.
